Quaint lodging with nice furnishings. Very clean! Cozy once we got settled. Before you visit in the winter, verify the host will turn on heat as we arrived after a long drive in 22 degree weather and the house was as cold inside as outside. But, we will return if we are back in the area!
Cute as a button cabin with all the right amenities. Loved the front porch. Glad there was a grab bar by the claw foot tub, lol. Very nice overall and we'd book it again. Thank you!
Upon arrival we experienced a minor hiccup; however the management took care of it and extended their gratitude to us. The cozy getaway us just that, cozy! It is really clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definetly stay again! Location is great...you are in Knoxville without knowing you are in a big city.
We did have trouble getting into the cabin the lock wasn’t changed to the right code however the property manager answer super quick and resolved the issue. The cabin is just as described super cute and cozy! Close to town and neyland stadium. We look forward to staying again in the future!
We needed a place close to my daughter’s place . This place serve its purpose. Heat work well . Love the creek behind the property . Hope this place is available next trip I plan.
House was fine, needs to be much cleaner. There were lots of dead bugs in the bathroom on the ceiling. Lots of cobwebs. Rugs outside need to be replaced, they are falling apart. Pillows on the bed are bad, super thin.

We want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that’s 100% ready for their stay, so we take your comments seriously. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We’re already in the process of replacing the pillows to ensure a more comfortable night’s rest.- The outdoor rugs will be removed and replaced with a fresh mat at the entry.- We’ll also be addressing the cobwebs and bugs with our cleaning partner to make sure extra attention is given before guest arrivals. Thanks again for your feedback — it helps us continue improving so future guests can enjoy the best possible stay.
I stayed in this little house for a meeting in Knoxville and was very very happy. It's extremely clean the owners have sort of every comfort. There were little things everywhere that made my stay very nice and has a full kitchen with utensils and dishes. The bed was extremely comfortable they have a TV with lots of things to watch and overall I felt like I was at a home bravo

Cozy Cabin!
This Cabin is super cute and cozy. My husband and I stayed for three nights. We really enjoyed the two lounging chairs with the massage feature in front of the TV. This house was very clean and they even leave a basket of goodies! One thing I would not recommend more then a couple because it could get squished but it was perfect for our stay!
Would like a sheet of paper telling us how to operate the tv with channels. Put on listing about the drive way, plus additional parking off road way. If and when we come back, we will be staying with you. Thanks, had a great time.
Cabin was cozy and private. It smelled musty both outside and in. Some areas were not clean, the blinds, the window sills and wells inside were full of bugs, kitchen shelves, dishes and pans were not very clean, corners in bathroom and living area buggy. I left it a lot cleaner than when I came. Kimberlin Heights road sign is missing. Can only see the green metal roof from the road. The driveway is 45 degree angle steep. I can't imagine what it would be like in ice or snow. The recliners were comfy, but needed instructions with them. I could never figure out how to get 1 back in non-reclining position. Contact was responsive to all my questions. Lock box with key was a little hard to find.
I stayed here with my sister for her birthday. It was a very cute property. It was perfect for a quiet weekend. Checking in and out was super easy too.
There are two small things I noticed. The first being the keurig had the descaling light on and the second was a dead bug on the floor in the living room. The bug being dead means the pest control is working!
This is a true vintage cottage with the associated pros and cons. We like to stay off the beaten path but relatively near town. This fit the bill. We knew it was on a road, but didn't realize how busy that road was. Im a light sleeper and just used ear plugs.
Pros:
Lots of authentic character
Updates done well
Clever use of space
Personal touches (k cups, tea bags, s&p, dish detergent)
Easy drive to Knoxville
Cons:
smells a bit musty due to age
Small/Dark
Road noise
Bathtub rust* please read below
The only real issue we had was that the clawfoot bathtub was heavily rusted upon checkin. We did not call the host because we did think there was really anything that could be done. We put the provided in-tub bath mat down and only showered. On our way home after checkout the host reached out to us when the cleaning crew got there and saw this. The host apologized and asked if is was like that upon checkin. They are taking steps to fix his for future guests.

Hi Missy, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:- We're delighted to hear that you found many positive aspects of our home. Our aim is always to provide a wonderful experience for our guests.- The road noise is beyond our control. Occasionally, there is a loud truck or motorcycle, but it's not very loud. However, we're sorry if it affected your visit in any way.- The house doesn't smell musty, and this hasn't been a problem in the past. We'll ensure this won't become an issue in the future. - Opening the curtains and shades can help make the home even more bright and inviting. - We haven't had an issue with bathtub rust, which was not there before your visit. However, after your departure, our cleaning team was able to remove the stain.Once again, thanks for sharing your review with us.
