Your Mountain Journey begins here! A genuine log cabin nestled on a secluded wooded cul-de-sac in the Nicoha Community is conveniently located just minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The beautifully landscaped front yard will capture your heart upon arrival and with nearly an acre of forest surrounding you will enjoy the peace and tranquility of the wrap around porch all year round.

Your Space
The inviting double door entry takes you into the living room on the main floor where the stacked stone fireplace and soaring ceiling provide a cozy place to enjoy some conversation, a movie on the big screen TV, or just settle down with your favorite book. Through the living room enter the dining room and fully equipped kitchen with access to the wrap around porch. Several seating areas on the property include swings, benches and of course rocking chairs.
To the right of the main entry is the spacious master suite that boasts a King size bed, jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower and TV. Also downstairs two sofa sleepers (one twin, one queen), and in the loft a bunk bed with full-size mattresses, full bathroom and TV provide ample sleeping arrangements for up to 7 guests.

Interaction with guests
Monday through Saturday 8 AM to 6 PM via messenger only. No phone calls or texts.

Your Neighborhood
There are only three cabins in the secluded, wooded, cul-de-sac and only two other cabins on Skyhawk Ln. If you’re seeking peace and quiet you’ve found it at Mountain Journey.

Our stay was amazing! Everything was exactly how the pictures showed, other than the pool table was removed, and the host messaged me as soon as it happened to let me know! It smelt so good, it was so quit, so clean, stocked enough for a family of 4! We loved it so much we cooked dinner on vacation! We will definitely be back, and will definitely be booking this same one! I am beyond grateful for such wonderful, kind people! The host checked in and made sure things was going well for us! I highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Cabin was very clean. Kitchen was very small hard to cook in. The cabin was listed as 2 bedrooms which it is only one bedroom and a loft/game room with bunk beds. It was a bit small for 2 couples. It is perfect for a couple with kids. Very clean!

Family stay!

We had a great time! Place was very clean, host was responsive, laid out the rules of checking in and checking out, good location! Water pressure was very good considering its well water. Cool stuff to do. Kids loved the pool table and hot tub. Wife loved the jacuzzi in the master bedroom.

It was fine!

Cabin’s nice inside, very clean. No view except for trees, really strict and specific restrictions from property owner, bring your own soap and shampoo.

Amazing Cabin

My family and I took a quick trip on our way to North Carolina. Decided to book last minute for a 3 night stay. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer. The cabin was exactly as pictured. Very cozy and perfect for a single family. The location is amazing, close to everything worth visiting in the area. Our favorite attraction was the Terry Evanswood magic show! It’s a short drive from the cabin. The secluded feel was absolutely ideal. The cabin was extremely clean as if no one had been there before us. Truly a 5 star experience. Thank you Arlene!

Relaxing getaway

This cabin is everything and more! My fiance and I had one of the most memorable trips yet, this cabin had a lot to do with it! It’s extremely clean and pictures match the reality. It’s secluded but close enough to everything making the trip that much better! 10/10 would stay again!

Relaxing and Convenient

My husband and I enjoyed our several days at Mountain Journey! The cabin's amenities included everything we needed, and the location was convenient to many restaurants, stores, attractions. We would definitely consider another stay if we were back in the beautiful Smoky Mountain area.

Winter trip

Not a terrible cabin, it had everything we needed. The host was nice and quick to respond. However secluded should not be used to describe it. Maybe in the summer when the trees are full but there’s neighbors on all 4 sides of the house with clear view and you can sit on the porch and listen to all their conversations. Cars honking, music, people being loud. That wasn’t pleasant. Crazy amount of ladybugs upstairs in the kids loft area. Obviously harmless but it ruined the kids experience in the loft. They never wanted to go up there, we had to sweep them up multiple times a day for a week. Accidentally stepped on quite a few too, that’s not enjoyable.Some of the kitchen utensils You can tell didn’t get cleaned enough in the dishwasher.And an animal got inside the cabin somehow, not sure what it was or how it got in from the roof but it was scratching and rustling around in a locked cabinet in the upstairs loft. Eventually went away but that shouldn’t be happening.

Great Cabin!

The cabin is perfect for a family getaway to the Smokies! The added Christmas decorations made it feel extra charming. They had all the essentials and more that you would ever need. Has a great wrap around porch for outdoor activities and plenty of games for the kids. I would highly recommend this cabin!
