Unbeatable Views! Private Laundry & Balcony. Near the Lakes Basin
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom offers stunning views down the valley of the Eastern Sierras and is a hidden gem in a quiet, mountain setting. Located at Mammoth Point, this cabin is close to Canyon Lodge and a short drive to the Village that has amenities such as restaurants, coffee shops, retail, dining, and not to mention the Village gondola to Canyon Lodge and a full calendar of year-round events. The unit features 2 levels with vaulted ceilings, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, wood flooring throughout and private laundry. The living room has a Queen sleeper sofa and flatscreen TV with cable, while the separate dining area offers seating for 6. The kitchen has upgraded stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare family meals. There is a private deck where you can soak up those stunning mountain views with your morning coffee. On the lower level are the bedrooms, with the master bedroom featuring a Queen bed, TV with Cable and en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo, and private laundry with washer/dryer. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with Double on bottom, Twin on top, TV with Cable and shared bathroom in the hallway with tub/shower combo. There is a ski storage area in the entry so you can drop all your gear after adventuring. The common area at the complex offers a year-round covered hot tub located just across the driveway, and BBQ grill in the Summer months. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people, comes with 2 outdoor parking spaces, and offers complimentary WiFi. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This unit has ground level access, 2 levels inside and no pets or smoking is permitted. Please note that access to this condo is via a steep road, chains or All Wheel Drive vehicles may be required in Winter conditions. Our calendar is updated in real time. Walking distance to canyon.
Basically ski in/ski out!! You can board down a path right into canyon lodge and when you come back take the higher trails and it spits right out to the cabin. Awesome stay perfect place!!

Throwback Mammoth Condo
Charming condo very near Canyon Lodge. The wood-burning stove was nice to heat the whole second level with only a few logs. We had no access issues driving around despite the record snowfall.

Good with exception.
Having just arrived and not even unloaded, the manager, (I assume) said, as I got out of my truck, "who taught you how to park?" This is no way to communicate, especially with a paying guest. We had one more encounter equally as unpleasant. She needs to seek another job. ☹️ Skiing was great anyway.

The property is listed as close to Canyon Lodge, while it is milage-wise close, it is still a 10-15 minuted drive. Also the listing states "it is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare family meals" There were no pantry staples anywhere in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, etc). It's fine if these things are not provided, but the above should not be stated. Also it is listed that the property is up a steep hill, in snowy conditions, 4wd is really the only way to go. We have an AWD vecihle that had chains on and we slide down the hill one morning.

Upgrade Needed Badly

Bottom line, update rental. As for Mammoth Reservations (who have a monopoly in the area) up your game!! Its the same story different condo, I've rented via Mammoth Reservations a million times. Time & time again the condo is outdated, and is less than satisfactory. I'm 100% sure that the owner is making more than enough money to upgrade a few things, like Carpet, bathrooms, hot water heaters, etc. The carpet due to the snow & traffic is 100% repulsive, put in vinyl plank floor with rugs that can be washed!!! NO hair dryer, really?? Super cheap amenity those can be purchased really cheap at a thrift store. VRBO & AirB&B always offer a dryer, so that is the minimum expectation.
