Life at Lakebay Cottage is all about soothing the spirits. Whether it’s sitting at the lapping shore of the lake, reclining on the ample patio just steps away, or cooking hearty comfort food, this is your recharge destination.

The coziness is on display in the living room where a rustic wood burning stove will warm you on chilly nights, while you nestle into the comfortable furnishings. The well-appointed kitchen features wood countertops, updated appliances, and an island overlooking the living and dining area. In addition to plenty of pots, pans and dinnerware, the kitchen also includes a microwave, toaster and gourmet coffee maker.

There's also a gas barbeque on the deck, just waiting for the grill master in your group wow you and your guests with mouthwatering meals while you're here.

Down the hall is the sliding door to the bathroom, complete with stall shower. Past this are two charming bedrooms to put down your head and let your troubles fade away. One bedroom features a queen-sized bed, the second a queen-sized trundle bed.

The real destination of the home is beautiful and private Palmer Lake. Whether your take the brief stroll to the shorefront, or admire its beauty from the ample back patio, the lake will fill you with serenity. Motorboats are not allowed, so peace and quiet reign supreme.

When you're looking for a little adventure, head over to South Beach, where you'll find a sandy swimming area with swimming docks and platforms. The two docks at North Beach provide a launch location for kayaks, paddle boards and paddle boats.

There is plenty to do in Gig Harbor, like exploring the many art galleries, boutiques and fine dining restaurants. If you feel like exploring further, take a harbor tour.

Nearby Allyn boasts a PGA golf course at Lakeland Village. Kayak and boat rentals are available in Allyn or Belfair, both about seven miles from the home. Port Orchard, just 15 minutes away, is a mecca for those interested in antiques and treasure hunting.

The downtown waterfront not only offers a beautiful scenic view but also shopping, museums, entertainment, galleries and dining, with ferry access from Bremerton and Seattle.

Instruction including access will be sent by email. Phones open 9am to 7pm every day. Unless otherwise arranged, check-in is between 5 and 7pm and check-out is before 11am. If dogs are allowed, they must be approved in advance, with a quantity, weight limit, and a per-dog, per-day fee. Due to government and owner requirements, occupancy may never exceed the number of registered guests, dogs and vehicles. Drop-in guests are not allowed. For security, there may be outwardly facing security cameras, capable of constant recording, and interior decibel meters to monitor noise. Bookings over 30 days or longer are with Prospera VIP.
