Lovely Water View at The Chowder House on Filucy Bay

Enjoy a beautiful marina view from the sun room, deck, living room or bedrooms. Built in 1920 but with roots dating back to 1890, The Chowder House was a hotel and restaurant before becoming a private residence in the early 2000's. With charming accents of coved ceilings and original hardwood floors, it also has huge picture windows overlooking beautiful Filucy Bay from the sunroom, dining room, living room, and both bedrooms. The main floor has a large, fully equipped kitchen with new cooktop, a dining room that seats 6, and a sun room with a sleeper-sofa and a large desk--perfect for working from home. The living room has a Smart TV where you can log into your Netflix/Hulu/Amazon or Youtube accounts, as well as a DVD player and a gas fireplace. Upstairs are both remodeled bedrooms with Queen size beds, and en-suite bathrooms-- each with a large walk-in shower, plus a study area with a full-size futon and desk overlooking Filucy Bay. The south bedroom has it's own small deck overlooking the bay, and both bedrooms have window seats for cozy reading while watching the herons or enjoying the sunset. The house has WIFI and air conditioning. We have a 3 person hot tub outside on the deck, as well as kayaks for use on the bay. Please note there are 18 stairs to the 2nd floor that are a bit steep, and several level changes on the main floor, so accessibility is limited. There is a small stool for easier access to each pillow-top bed.
