We loved our stay at this owner-managed VRBO home in North Port, FL! The house was very nice and impeccably clean from the moment we arrived—fresh linens, spotless throughout, and well-maintained. The owner (or whoever handled communication) was responsive and made everything feel personal and welcoming.What really set this place apart was the generous supply of beach gear: a large umbrella, shade tent, comfy chairs, and plenty of sand toys for the kids. This was a huge plus since North Port isn't right on the beach (it's inland, with great Gulf beaches like Englewood, Manasota Key, or Venice about 20-45 minutes away). The gear let us easily explore different beach spots without hauling our own stuff—perfect for a family trip!The beds were comfortable and supportive. Water pressure in the showers was average (not the strongest, but fine with the adjustable heads). The only downside was the living room couch—it wasn't very comfy for lounging, though we barely used it since we spent most days at the beach and only evenings winding down.Overall, this was a relaxing, hassle-free stay in a quieter area that many overlook. Great value, especially with the beach extras. We'd happily return!
