Green Palm Cottage, #976905, is located on the property of our personal residence.
If you want a private getaway, this is the spot! Close to everything , but with the sense of being secluded on our lush, green, eye-catching piece of property. The cottage is set back 120 ft from the road, nestled at the end of our brick pavers driveway with parking under our pergola. Royal Palm trees, Coconuts & other tropical plantings enhance our lush landscaping.

Kitchenette with 18cuft fridge, all dishes, utensils, washer/dryer. No stove, but induction cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, water kettle, electric skillet;

Skip the extra luggage fees as we provide everything you need in the apartment! Beach towels, beach sheet, beach equipment, coolers, chairs, umbrellas, etc.

IMPORTANT: NO LIGHTED CANDLES OR ANYTHING ALLOWED IN COTTAGE!!

First time visiting Ft Myers

Perfect Private Hideaway

Great private space for one or two people. Lush tropical foliage all around the beautifully restored property. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities you need. The owner met us when we arrived, told us about the property, then gave us our privacy for our long weekend vacation. We absolutely recommend this little place.

Peaceful

A peaceful retreat close to everywhere I wanted to be in Fort Myers. The hosts are exceptional and the accommodations meet all my needs. This was my second stay at Altamont, and I will probably stay again in the future.

Cozy Little Cottage

The property was very nice and clean. It was just as we thought it would be from vieweing the photos in the listing. The location was very convenient located and was close to the places we needed to go to. Having a covered parking space was great!

Great Place

The cottage was charming and clean. It had everything we needed for our week's stay while in town. The property is beautifully landscaped and everything is well taken care of. 5 stars for every category, except we gave 4 stars for location as there was traffic noise at times.

Perfect for our return to Fort Myers

Cleo and Bucky’s cosy studio cottage is in easy walking distance of the buzzing downtown for dinner and a block from Publix if you’re self- catering. We also walked to the EdisonFord Estate for a unique historical viewpoint. The cottage has everything you’d need and the secluded back yard was perfect for a shady breakfast.

Perfect hospitality, beautiful property, great location

Cleo was a wonderful host. Accommodations were clean, comfortable (felt just like home), and well-equipped with everything I needed. The property is beautiful. Location was perfect for someone looking to be close to downtown Ft Myers and the Edison/Ford Winter Estate, and the grocery being only one block away was endlessly convenient. Good central location - reasonable driving distance to all other activities and beaches in the Ft. Myers area.

Cozy cottage and wonderful hosts

The cottage is set in wonderful tropical garden with flowering vines, trees and palms. Open spacious design of cottage was great place to relax. Close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Well equipped kitchen and private porch. Hosts live in house on the premises so they were alway available. Very clean and cozy.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This cozy little cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway for my husband and me. Incredibly easy access to prime seating for viewing the Edison Festival of Lights Grand Parade - no traffic or parking headaches to deal with. We were able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. Cleo was a gracious hostess. The cottage was clean, comfortable and private. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Nice, clean place, everything you need

Had a great time at the home, very clean property, nice fenced in backyard, and hot tub to relax in. We even used the grill to cook out fresh catch fish from the market for our dinner one evening. Cleo was so nice and showed us everything in detail and made us feel very comfortable. Would definitely recommend

Perfect Little House

I was very pleased with how clean and comfortable this adorable little house was! The bed was exceptionally comfortable. I had very few interactions with the owner. The house is close to both downtown and the city of Fort Myers. In a cute neighborhood, walking distance from Publix. Perfect little cottage; ;)

Family Trip

My wife and I were in Florida for the weekend for a family wedding. We arrived later in the evening and Cleo greeted us and showed us around. The rental was just as advertised. It is a beautiful property and really close to everything in Fort Myers. Cleo gave us some great information on the area and told us a little bit about the history of the property. We enjoyed our stay and plan on going back in the spring for some pre-season baseball and exploring more of downtown Fort Myers. Highly recommend!

Great host, lovely cottage

Everything about the Green Villa Cottage was exactly as advertised. Cleo is a wonderful host. She personally welcomed us and had plenty of information about things to do and places to eat. The cottage was bigger than the pictures make it look, with a nice screened-in back porch and plenty of fans to help keep the cottage cool. We had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. I will definitely stay here the next time we are in Fort Myers to visit family.

Ft. Myers Fun in the Sun

Cleo Morgan and her husband Bucky have a wonderful cottage to share with vacationers to Ft. Myers. I told them the day we were leaving that driving into their property entrance was like arriving at a resort. The overall neighborhood may not be as appealing, but the Green Palm Cottage is beautifully landscaped and kept immaculate. Restaurants with great food are abundant. You are a short drive (20 -30 minutes) from Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Beach, Very easy access. Shops with creative gifts and restaurants with delicious food in the River District (1st Street) was one of our favorite activities. Both within walking distance of the cottage. If you don't have to have an ocean view, then you can't miss Green Palm Villa.

Altamont Manor in May

Quiet, private setting in a Ft. Myers location that was a perfect jumping off location for our travels up and down the coast. Cleo made us feel comfortable and at home and provided us with a great retreat at the end of our long days.

My husband and I are Ft. Myers natives, having moved back home in 2008. We love this area and purchased our 1924 Arts & Crafts home, which is quite close to where we grew up. The house came with a cottage at the back of the property. We completely renovated the building, and first used it as my husband's ceramic studio. After purchasing the house next door & starting it our Green Palm Villa Vacation Rental, we decided to turn the ceramic studio into a our lovely Green Palm Cottage rental. We have had many lovely guest from all over the Us and also Europe. It's always a pleasure to meet them & be sure they are well taken care of. My reviews have all been 4's & 5's. No one has been disappointed!

Our guests always comment on how COMFORTABLE and CLEAN our rentals are. This is very important to us as we work very hard to give our guests a stress-free vacation with us by providing a lot of "extras" to make sure they have everything they need. Our location is a plus, being within a 15-minute walk to Downtown Ft. Myers and the parks along the Caloosahatchee River. We have a great Publix grocery near by, so shopping is easy and fast after a long flight or drive to Ft. Myers. Restaurants, bars, shops, antique stores, banks, drug stores and gas stations are all close. We have a new public library downtown on First Street, with the Berne Davis Art Center across the street from it.There are events nearly every week-end in Downtown, such as Music Walk, Art Walk, music & art festivals, etc. Ft. Myers Beach & Sanibel Island are about 15 miles south - a straight shot down picturesque McGregor Blvd.
