Upon entering, you'll be greeted by stunning tall ceilings, exquisite art, and exposed beams that extend through the kitchen. This space is ideal for preparing meals and entertaining guests, featuring stainless steel appliances, a well-stocked pantry, a gas-burning stove, a large island for meal prep, a variety of culinary accessories, and a convenient breakfast bar that seats three. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area, which comfortably seats up to 14 guests and offers a stunning view of the mountains, making it perfect for hosting dinners with friends. The dining area opens to the outdoor decks, including a screened, covered deck with ample seating and an open area equipped with a Traeger grill and smoker, perfect for evening barbecues.

Back inside, the spacious living room is designed for relaxation, featuring expansive windows that provide spectacular mountain views, all controlled with electronic blinds at the touch of a button. The living room is also equipped with a large flat-screen TV, streaming services, cable, a gas-burning fireplace for cozy nights, and a surround sound system that extends throughout the house. The home is technologically advanced, with Wi-Fi connection spots easily accessible by simply holding up your device, convenient charging stations in bedrooms, and fiber-optic internet for seamless connectivity.

Black Bear Rock is a spacious home designed to accommodate large families or groups. On the main level, there is a kid-friendly room with five twin beds (including bunk beds and a trundle), its own bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a TV for entertainment. The extraordinary primary suite on this level features a king bed, a flat-screen TV with streaming, a newly added private balcony with a wood-burning fireplace, a chandelier with a ceiling fan, and a stunning mountain view. The ensuite bathroom is spacious and luxurious, with dual sinks, a deep soaking tub, a large walk-in shower with dual shower heads, heated floors, and a walk-in closet.

Upstairs, you'll find the second primary suite, which includes a king bed, a spacious ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower, large closets, electronic blinds, and another beautiful mountain view.

Descending to the lower level, you'll discover a second large living area with built-ins that provide a private library, another flat-screen TV, and a gas fireplace. This area also features long-range mountain views. Adjacent to the living area is a bonus kids' room with a twin bunk bed and various toys and activities. Further down the hall is a guest bedroom that offers a private fireplace, a king bed, a flat-screen TV, and yet another magnificent mountain view.

This home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities. These amenities are not at the home. They are in a separate drivable location. You may join for $5/day or $25/week per person. Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, one indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, outdoor miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts, playground, track, picnic tables, community center, organized excursions to Cherokee and the Biltmore House in Asheville, a 9 hole (par 3) golf course, Zip-Lining, High Ropes Course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities and discounts on ski lift tickets and ski equipment rentals during the winter season.
Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $50, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $500 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.
