Great little property in a great location...

A lovely quiet, clean little property in a fantastic location close to everything you may need. Takeaway food and Coles within walking distance. Freo is a short 5 min drive (bus stop is a 5 min walk also). Would happily book again.

While the shower, kitchen, master bedroom were nice, the remaining items were well below standards. The floor in the hallway between the kitchen and the shower, creaks when you walk on it.The laundry room needs a dryer, since the outside clothes line was covered by an overgrown tree above. The toilet room (and laundry room) looks to be part of the original house??, where a foul water oder seems to be coming from. There is a small hole in the side of the house where someone put a chrome vertical lamp in front of. It looks to be in the old part of the house (laundry room / toilet) area. The reason it’s mentioned is because we saw a medium size roach come from that location. The general outside of the house (fence, wood deck, stairs) are in need of repair. When I re-looked at the listing I see only 2 reviews.I suspect that others have found similar issues??Perhaps you may want to de-list this property until repairs are made.We felt it was definitely not worth the price we paid.
Where the old original house stops and the new addition begins.
Literally a hole in the wall to the outside where insects enter the house.
Lack of maintenance where the tree has grown into the outside clothesline.
The toilet room (still part of the original house) which did not seem to have proper oder removal/ventilation.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to let you know the garden has now been taken care of. We were also happy to help with anything you need during your stay, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if anything comes up in the future. We’re sorry to hear that the property did not meet your expectations. Regarding the cockroach sighting, this can occasionally occur in Australia, more natural bush settings, but we understand your concern. We have also noted your comments about the odour and will investigate this further, as this is the first time we have been made aware of it. Thank you again for letting us know, and we hope the rest of your stay is comfortable. The SmartStayWA Team
