Great spot, quiet. Easy access, great area I visited often as a kid and I’m glad my daughter gets to experience this area as well. I would stay again.

Rangeley lake cabin
Cozy cabin right on the lake! My friend and our teen daughters stayed there for a long weekend and skied Saddleback. The mountain was super close and convenient to get to. We will hopefully be back again next year.
We went to spend time with our grandson and to get some fishing in. The cabin was clean, the view awesome and we wound up renting a boat which we loved, to explore the beautiful lake. Paul our host was so helpful answering our questions from the time we booked to when we left. He could not have been more accommodating. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in a cute cabin this is for you. We’ll definitely be back, our time was worth the trip.
We went with family for a visit up north and to ski. It was perfect for a quick getaway and to bring our golden retriever. We are already planning a trip again for next month. Thank you!!

It was a pleasure having you Sara, and we hope to see you again!
The cabin was a charming and cozy retreat, perfect for the three of us. Our kids had an absolute blast playing in the snow during the snowstorm, especially with my in-laws' rental cabin being so close. The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed for our 4.5-day stay. Despite the coldest temperatures I've ever experienced and fierce winds, the cabin remained warm and we only lost power for a brief minute. The manager was always prompt in responding to my texts, which was a great help.
Nicely decorated and clean cabin. Very warm and beds are comfortable. It was perfect for myself, husband and 3 teenagers. Close to Saddleback ski resort . My only complaint is you have to walk down the driveway of the cabin behind you. They had big SUV, sleds and toys blocking the walkway. It was a challenge to walk down to the cabin. We would definitely stay here again as that was a minor issue. Just make sure you wear boots in the winter.
Grew up renting cabins next to each other on Mooselookmeguntic but sadly those cabins are no longer available to rent. Havent been back to the area with the rest of the family for 20 years! So for my birthday all I wanted to do was make it back to the lake with my family. The owners were amazing in helping coordinate 2 other neighboring cabins for cousins and my mom to rent. Sportsmen Cabin was great! Beautiful view and that wonderful rustic charm! Sauna was great! Only problem was the people renting cabin to the back right (looking towards the water) was rented to people who didnt follow the 'dogs must be on leash at all times' or no clothes/shoes in sauna or quiet after 10pm rules. My aunt has a fear of dogs and their 2 big dogs were frequently wondering off and visiting. Kinda ruined 2 evenings there. Would hope that the other owners would help enforce the same rules.
The cabin was very nice. Beautiful lake and sunset views from the front porch. Our Host was very attentive and helpful. Our only suggestions for improvement are that it would be nice to have privacy shades or curtains in the bedrooms and for the cleaners to make sure they sweep under the bed and clean thoroughly when there are dogs. We happened to meet the cleaner when we checked in and she mentioned that she spent a lot of time cleaning up after a previous guest with a large dog checked out. We still found dog hair under the bed and on some of the beds and some furniture. We had 2 people with allergies in oir group. Maybe she didn't have the right cleaning tools on hand for this issue?
Initially I booked the cabin by mistake and when I called and spoke with Liz to let her know what happened and told her I needed to check with my sister to see if they wanted to stay in the cabin she was very understanding and told me to check with my sisters and she would accommodate us with whatever we decide. We decided to keep the reservation, we really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was really clean and cozy, the view is amazing. The cabin was well stocked from everything needed in a kitchen to warm blankets. We are really looking forward to stay there again. Thank you Liz.
We found the cabin to be nice and clean. Its a small place but just enough room for what we needed and nice and cozy. Easy check in and out. I only wish it had been noted that the dock was pulled in for the year on the listing. Not a big deal as there is other access to the water but just a note.
The hostess was very happy to help us get into her property late at night. The cabin is beautiful and energy efficient with plenty of room for a gang or like us, just two. Beautiful porch overlooking the the lake just steps away. Kayaks made for a lovely afternoon. Great restaurants in the local town just a 5 minute drive as well as a large grocery store. Cabin had everything we needed - except a kettle for tea- but hey we boiled water in a pot! I highly recommend the Loon lodge next door for a wonderful meal but make a reservation! We will be back!
