Charming classic Big Bear cabin in the desirable Whispering Forest area of Big Bear. Enjoy the mountain air and scenery while relaxing as you escape the city life! Short walk to the Convention Center, Oktoberfest, Snow Play, and National Forest hiking trails. Short drive to ski resorts, lake and Village.

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 1000+ sq ft home with living room, TV, dining table, beautiful wood burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath. First bedroom has a queen bed. Second bedroom two has a queen bed and a twin bed. Living room has a sleeper sofa. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Full kitchen with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Cable TV, Roku with streaming apps along with fast WiFi, board games, and card games. Relax near the cozy wood burning fireplace.

Perfect for the Family!

The picture does not really highlight the coziness of the house. The cabin projects an intimate gathering for the family! We have enjoyed our stay! We had a great time and when it gets too cold in the evening don't forget the amount of heaters in the master closet.

The resort was fine except the one front buster on the stove didn't work and range top very old and burners don't sit flat. Also I swept the floors and then no dustpan to sweep it up with. The brooms are very old and used so should be replaced.

This is a very rustic cabin. No usable outdoor space for grilling or enjoying the trees. It is dark, dusty, and dingy. The linens/blankets/rugs/pillows are all very old and worn, the couches and mattresses are uncomfortable and need to be replaced. We were pretty disappointed. We stayed over a holiday weekend so prices were higher than usual, making it feel not worth the price at all. Upon arriving there was a pungent odor coming from the fridge. We reported it immediately and the solution was to drop off baking soda and air fresheners, which was too late, because we had already gone to the store to manage the situation on our own. We spent the first couple of hours cleaning up, and managing the situation so our food didn’t spoil, as the fridge was unusable. This place needs a lot of work before it is rented out as a VRBO. Management was responsive and polite, but it is frustrating that it was rented at all given the state of things. We had our cleaning fee returned, seeing as we had to clean ourselves, but realistically shouldn’t have paid nearly as much as we did.
