Harbour Views - luxury in the heart of Darwin

Unfortunately our experience hosting this guest was not a positive one with communication very difficult and requests, such as wanting to pass check in details to the guest's friends who would be arriving before them, leaving us feeling unsure and uncomfortable. However we agreed to this, in the interest of trust and providing a great stay. We did admit out mistake and apologised to Darwin for late check in details; the email we had sent bounced back but we didn't receive the bounce notification for a couple of hours which delayed the rectification. We did respond to Darwin advising that we could give a late check out of 11am (we couldn't offer any later as there was another guest arriving later that day). However, it seems he didn't receive our email or message. Once again contact was very difficult. Our cleaners were upset to find that the guest hadn't vacated the property upon their arrival and I was frustrated that I couldn't contact the guest to discuss the options and situation. I'm sorry that Darwin had a poor experience with us and we shall ensure that we review our communication to be the best possible in future.
