Great family vacation

We had a great family vacation during spring break. The house is just like it looks in the pictures, very colorful! All surfaces seemed newly painted, but most of it felt pretty dated, expect the mattresses, I think they were new. The kitchen was not that well equipped, but if you do not plan to cooks fancy dinners, you should be fine. We had lots of fun in the pool with the toys . The house was a perfect starting point to visit the beautiful beaches, all but a not too long drive away.

Stressful

On two occasions, a man showed up in the fenced in backyard unannounced. One was the pool man, the other was the lawn man. Sheer curtains in the bedroom. Dirty floors. Broken poolside lounge chairs. No bedside table in one of the bedrooms. We ended up leaving a night early due to coming back from dinner and water coming out of the garage. They weren't going to send someone out to check it until we left the next day. Didn't want to wake up to a flood, so we left.

Hi Tom & Kay, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience so we were disappointed to hear your feedback, and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - Our lawn maintenance tends to the yard weather permitted, and as needed, which fell during your stay, in addition, our pool technician is scheduled on a weekly basis to ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the pool, but we're truly sorry this had a negative impact on your stay. - Where we do have sheers in the bedroom, we also have drapes that can be drawn for additional privacy. - We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest stay and have never had this complaint before. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact during your stay, we would have promptly responded and been happy to address any issues or concerns you may have had. - The lounge chairs that you referenced are loungers that are intended to lay flat for relaxing and not intended for sitting up, in addition, we do provide outdoor furniture which includes chairs and a table. - We take the accuracy of our listing seriously and use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised and reflected in our listing photos the third bedroom does not offer a nightstand, but we're sorry if you missed that when making your reservation. - During your stay, the AC drip pan became slightly plugged causing it to slightly overflow into the garage which is not included in the rental and not for guest use. However, we appreciated you bringing this to our attention as we were able to have a plumber go to the home, address, and resolve the issue the same day. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
