Seascape Rockaway - Meredith Lodging

Get ready for easy elegance and unparalleled views from all three floors of this fantastic townhome at Rockaway Beach! With two private suites it’s an ideal home to share with friends and family when you want both company and easy retreat space. The top-level living room has a sweet vaulted ceiling punctuated by skylights and transom windows, letting in plenty of ocean light to brighten your stay. A wind-screened balcony through sliding doors gives you panoramic views of Rockaway Beach, including the iconic Twin Rocks, and lets you open up the space to sea breezes and the sounds of the surf. A fireplace and smart TV with apps and extras including a Wii will invite your guests to gather to relax in the evenings. A pretty, formal dining room and a high bistro table let you serve meals from the beautiful, fully equipped kitchen, with its extra-large stainless refrigerator, pretty granite counters, and pendant lighting.

Two sumptuous bedroom suites on the middle floor have their own balconies. A ground-level bonus room—complete with a Smart TV, fireplace, sofa sleeper, and a queen Murphy bed that folds up out of the way by day, also has a slider to the lower balcony and an easy walk across level sand to the ocean. It’s the perfect spot for a family to enjoy together!

You’ll be close to the fun of downtown Rockaway, miles of sandy beach, a ride down the coast on the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad, and Highway 101 up and down the North Oregon Coast. The view was absolutely perfect, both beach side and town side!The comfort of both livingroom and beds was great.Plus, the beach chairs, buckets, shovels etc was really appreciated.The only downside was, we didn't have any kitchen towels (hand or dish towels) to use.My family enjoyed the condo, beach and town so much they want to move there!!Thank you for sharing with us.

Our overall stay at this condo was very good. Only three small problems were brought to my attention. 1. There was an odor of fish in the kitchen. 2. The drain of the sink in the second bathroom was slow. 3. There needs to be instructions on how to use the TV's. I would suggest that they subscribe to either Directv or Dish TV instead of streaming services which was very confusing to us.

Perfect location and gorgeous views of Rockaway Beach. The condo was overall very comfortable but could use a new mattress in the second bedroom. Easy walk to several restaurants and shops. Although the place could use some updates and a thorough cleaning, we enjoyed our time there and would definitely return.

Fantastic location, excellent experience.

This is ideal for just hanging out and being able to get directly on the beach in just a few steps. The little stream nearby makes for fun visuals and play and also creates a natural barrier of sorts for the public beach, giving a more private feel to the beach directly in front of the unit. Grumpys was a grand experience and the shops were fun. The balconies were a hit with everyone, as well as the fireplaces etc. Loved it!

Great ocean view

Fantastic ocean views from all 3 floors. Facility needs a little TLC. Ceiling vent and ceiling fan in dire need of cleaning. Greeted with musty smell of cooked food odor on entry. Several window shades in disrepair. Bottom floor needed added cleaning. Would have appreciated work space with 2 persons working remotely.

Great house

House was very clean and as advertised, with the exception of the third suite/bedroom. Though it’s noted in detailed description that it really is just a two bedroom, incorporating that into the main description that populates the other the listing would be helpful. Otherwise, a fantastic home on a beautiful coast.

Relaxing and peaceful

We enjoyed our stay very much. We sorely needed a relaxing and peaceful vacation and it more than filled the bill. There are a few things that might help make the experience better for future guests. A single-cup coffeemaker would be nice. The washing machine needs attention. We were unable to select washing speeds. You really should let guests know that the living room and kitchen are on the third floor and only accessible by two long staircases.

Would definitely stay here again.

Property was well maintained and clean. Good access to the beach. The owner is quick to respond to any questions we had by text. Loved all the balconies and private bathrooms for each of us. If someone in your party has a hard time climbing stairs just be aware as it is a 3 level unit and the main area is on the top floor but we were aware of that before we booked.

Beautiful Townhouse

I took my adult children and their friend for a stay at the beach. We wanted a place right on the beach overlooking the ocean and we were not disappointed! The accommodations were lovely and we had a fabulous time! The 3 levels were the only complaint, but the rooms were wonderful and we could overlook having to climb more stairs than planned. So many balconies to enjoy! It was right in the heart of Rockaway and our favorite shops! It was surprisingly quiet, which was another plus, though we did go in the middle of the week! lol Lots of great fun! Thank you!

Perfect

This charming condo was simply perfect. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, lots of cozy blankets and instant fireplaces. Plentiful beach chairs and sand play toys for all. And the VIEW can’t be beat. Be forewarned, if stairs are uncomfortable for you, this is not your place. Town and shops just across the road. We will be back!

My family stayed here for a weekend, and didn’t want to leave. The property was exactly as described in listing. Beautiful location, right on the beach, clean, very big; the perfect spot for a vacation. We were wishing we had booked a longer stay!

Spring Vacation

We were 8 adults strong and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in this condo. The multiple balconies were a huge plus as was the beautiful kitchen! We weren’t able to do much on the beach as the weather was a little wet but we honestly come to Rockaway to watch the storms! Thank you so very much! We will be back!

Spring Break Get-Away

What a fantastic condo with direct beach access! There were 5 balconies to enjoy the views and sunshine. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities. Our family had a great time celebrating a birthday, playing games and enjoying the Oregon coast. Yes, I would recommend this home for your next beach front vacation!

Spring break with my adult children, and their spouses

Our party was three couples, so we chose this “ 3 suite” listing. It’s beachfront! When I arrived first I discovered two bedrooms, plus a Murphy bed in the entryway “ bonus room”. The Murphy bed lives in a tiny room off the front door hall, and has the only exit out to the beach. There is NO DOOR. a no privacy, it’s at the base of the stairwell leading to the bedrooms. No door, no privacy, and as I discovered next NO BLANKETS. NO PILLOWS. I called the “ 24 hour help” line only to discover no one cared. At all. And they aren’t local despite listing their office as Manzanita ( “ that office isn’t staffed”) I was promised that blankets and pillows would be dropped off. They never were. No blankets or pillows for the Murphy bed during our entire stay The people on the phone could not have cared less. It was a major inconvenience to only have two functional beds, for six people. We would up pulling the bedspread off the master and using decorative sofa pillows. Had they not lied about there being a third bedroom, and had there been bedding it would have been a very nice rental The parking is also really bad. There is a tiny one car garage that bare fit my subcompact car, and a tiny parking space that abuts the garage. You have to squeeze between a pine tree and your car to enter the house. The property is listed as “ sleeps eight” just make sure everyone arrives in one clown car, and doesn’t need a blanket, or pillow.

Triple Level Ocean Front Oasis

Beautiful views!! Nicely furnished, very comfortable bed with an amazing ocean view also! We have stayed at this location before and I'm sure we will again! Loved every minute of it!!
