Property was messy… rusted old grill and bucket in yard and the wheels are rusted off the outside trash can. Had to call to get batteries in all the fire alarms but management was there right away. It would be very helpful to have a good working vacume cleaner to sweep the sand out of cracks in floor when we needed it.

Great Location - Right across from the Public Beach Access - Quiet

This is a unique property that has had some renovations. Bathroom floor tiles were broken/loose. Upstairs bedroom has a window unit AC, which worked fine with us, no problem. Every bedroom had a TV, but we were missing 1 remote (which I alerted the property mgmt company). None of the smoke detectors had batteries, we alerted the mgmt company and the maintenance guy called, but we never received any batteries. Overall the property seemed clean and comfortable, the location was the best feature, right across the road from the public beach access in Long Beach, very quiet location on the beach. We brought our Labradoodle and he loved the gated front porch which included very comfortable rocking chairs. Make sure you bring kitchen linens as they are not included in the linen package. There are NO START up items, bring soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.

Quick get away

Family of 5 and a dog had a wonderful stay. The location is prefect and the place is super cute. Beds were comfortable, however, a bit sandy. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, minus larger bowls, I used the large pot when i needed mixing bowls. Only reached out once to the rental company, very quick to respond, friendly and helpful. It is right off the street and speed limit there was 45. So, be careful with little kids and dogs. Lots of pricklys around the house so be sure to check your pups paws if you have one and don’t walk barefoot! They mean it when they say bring your own supplies, there is no start up anything. Don’t forget toilet paper, paper towels, foil, ziplock, food containers, sponges, soap…. Linens are supplied but you do have to make the beds upon arrival and strip them when you leave. You put the comforters back on as well so bring your own blankets, not sure when/if they are washed. Overall a great stay but there were some logistical issues. Would recommend just be sure to be prepared. Also- forgot to call, there is a leak under the sink. A bowl was there when we arrived but we think it needs fixed before the damage is worse.
