Area is great, apartment and communication, not so much
Our family of 6 stayed here over New Year's - originally booked for 5 nights, but ended up only staying 2 nights and then had to move due to disappointing circumstances. I am a travel agent and work in hospitality industry - unfortunately this apartment and the communication did not meet our expectations.The neighborhood is great and very convenient - we walked to Eiffel Tower, Champs d'Elysse (sp?), Arc de Triomphe, shopping, etc. All restaurants in the area were very good. Check in was easy - however once we stepped into the building we were sorely disappointed. Major construction going on during the day, no toilet paper or paper towels on arrival, refrigerator leaked, no hot water in one bathroom, no hand towels - all minor issues. Most concerning was the cracks around the entry door, no threshold to one of the bedrooms, major cracks around all windows - wind coming in the living room window and while only one window pane was cracked, there was at least one that was almost falling out - blowing in the wind. Host was responsive within 5 hours trying to understand why we were moving and wanted photos, but once that was explained and photos sent, we have not heard from them since Jan 1st. I would not recommend this rental at all.
