Cozy cottage

The Robins nest is the most cozy cottage tucked away in carmel by the sea. Close enough to shops but far enough not to hear the car and foot traffic noise. We had a great rime away from home. Thank you so much!

Best Get-away ever.

The cottage is lovely and the outdoor seating is beautiful. Great location, and we had a wonderful walk around a neighborhood we had never before explored. The entire experience was A. The television is easy to figure out and the living room has comfortable chairs and a great sofa. It was great to have a firewood in the fireplace for the chilly evening. Very close to Point Lobos which we highly recommend.

Great little cottage in a sweet little neighboorhood

Unfortunately, my party wasn't up for the 20 minute walk into town so it didn't really serve my ideal of being close ish to everything but it still was lovely. The back deck was perfect for impromptu dance party for the 4 of us (hahahah) and card games.

Carmel Family Rendezvous

My wife and I met our two adult sons in Carmel at The Cypress Cottage. Everything exactly as listed. Owner communication was quick and very kind/helpful. It is very quiet. Everything was perfect, a great launching point for all area attractions and a space to simply rest and enjoy company inside or the back deck area. Indoors, just open a couple of doors and windows for fresh air circulation throughout the cottage. Walking distance 0.8 to 1 mile to city area. Ubers are plentiful. Can park rental car downtown if you do not mind waiting on a space. Carmel Farmers Market on Thursday. Try the local fruit and veggies - strawberries and Mission Figs, a must try. Over 4 days, we visited 3 beaches, Bayonet Golf Course in Seaside, state parks, 17 mile drive, Pebble Beach Resort, and two trips to Big Sur for evening drives and dining. We spent time shopping in Carmel. If you like to stay in for meals, the gas grill works great. All you need for cooking is supplied, including an entire spice cabinet. K-cups provided to get started with Keurig. Safeway grocery store is just 5 to 7 minutes away. The back deck/yard was our favorite spot for breakfast, afternoon rest, and evening wind down - chairs, couch, coffee table, and dining table. It is totally fenced for pets, even a pet waste bag dispenser. There is a swing for children. The bedrooms were perfect for our group, sharing the main bath for showers and using the 1/2 bath worked fine. Highly recommend. Book now!

Love our Carmel cottage!

We have been here a few times and it is now our go-to spot when we visit our friends in the area. Our dogs love the space, we had our Grand children there this visit and they loved the back and the bunk beds!Perfect location right off of Hwy 1 yet very peaceful and quiet.We will be back!

Perfect for our family

Cypress Cottage was the best pet friendly property we have stayed at. Our little dog loved sunbathing on the deck and our 9 month old got his best sleep to date in the pack n play set up in the guest room. The property was not booked the night before our trip so the host reached out and let us know we could check in a couple of hours early which was huge with a baby who naps in the afternoon. Thank you for the best experience!

Golf road trip with dogs

Amazing location with a super dog friendly yard and deck. Cottage is charming, well equipped and cozy when cool sea air comes by. Management was very available, accommodating and helpful. We would highly recommend this location!

Wedding weekend

Such a cute home for the three of us. We were in town for one my daughter’s BFF’s wedding weekend. Location was close to venue and everything. Perfect home, lots of privacy from neighbors. Susan was very welcoming and even reached out to let us know we could check in early. The home had everything you’ll need for a wonderful stay. It was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cypress cottage. It is about 5 minutes from the downtown area. And also about 5-10 minutes from Carmel valley that has a Safeway and Lucky. Susan was super responsive whenever I texted her with questions. Would recommend!

Always a wonderful stay in this sweet little cozy cottage. Plenty of room, well appointed and the outside deck is amazing. Our two dogs love it! The location is perfect, close to Hwy 1, downtown Carmel, Carmel Valley, Monterey and Pacific Grove.This was our second time there and it will now be a permanent stomping ground from Napa when we visit our friends there.Thank you! The cottage is fresh, light and modern, but still retains a wonderful Carmel vibe. It is very nicely appointed, well maintained, and had everything we needed. There is even a fabulous deck that spans the entire length of the house. We also appreciated the quiet neighborhood. This place is so amazing and was just perfect for our visit to Carmel.
