And we have the perfect place - Kindred Tides - a fabulous home in the heart of Chincoteague Island whose mission in life is to bring families together.

Kindred Tides has that quintessential Chincoteague Charm you love, plus the Modern Amenities you want and need. This beautiful home has been completely renovated, and is like a brand new home inside - and it will knock your socks off. Kick off your Flip Flops as you enter through the Mud Room, and let the fun begin!

Tucked on Church Street, in the heart of the Island, Kindred Tides sits on a large corner lot with a Fully Fenced-in yard - perfect for the kids to chase Lightning Bugs on a warm Summer night. As soon as you enter this spectacular home, you’ll know you made the right choice. This classic Coastal Colonial is stately and impressive on the outside, and opens up to the most warm and welcoming Beach House you could ever want!

You’ll love sinking into the oversized Sectional in the Living Area after a fun-filled day at the Beach, and enjoying Free WiFi and Flat Screen Streaming TV. Adorned in Colors of Sand and Sea, it’s light and bright, yet still warm and cozy. Just off the Living Area is the Screened Porch - the perfect place to sip your morning coffee, and take in that salty, sweet sea breeze.

Even though Kindred Tides is a Historic Home, it’s been lovingly updated to suit how we live today with an awesome Open Layout. The Living Area opens to the gorgeous Dining Area with plenty of seating for family dinners or game nights. Wandering down the Hall to the Kitchen - just WOW. With gleaming Granite Countertops, Stainless Appliances, and a Custom Island, mealtime will be a bay breeze. It is well-equipped with all you could ever need - even a Crock Pot! Just off the Kitchen is the Mud Room, which leads to the Backyard with Brand New Deck, and also houses the Full Size Washer and Dryer. There’s also a convenient Half Bath just off the Living Area.

Kindred Tides sleeps 8 in pure comfort and style. Bedroom 1 is a 1st Floor Master with a luxurious King Bed, Flat Screen Streaming TV, and Private Master Bath with Walk-in Shower. Just off the Dining Area, follow the awesomely cool staircase upstairs to find 3 more Bedrooms. Bedroom 2 and 3 both have comfy Queen Beds, Flat Screen Streaming TV, and tasteful Coastal Decor. Bedroom 4 is ideal for the kiddos with a Pyramid Bunk (Twin over Full) and another Flat Screen Streaming TV. There’s a Shared Full Bath with a Tub/Shower Combo in the Hall.

On top of all of that, Kindred Tides is in an awesome location just ½ mile to Historic Main Street with Shops, Restaurants, the Island Theatre, and Robert Reed Waterfront Park - the home of many Free Events over the Summer including Concerts, Movie Nights, and more! You can easily stroll or ride your bike to all of this, and even the Grocery Store around the corner. And of course, Assateague National Seashore - where our famous Wild Ponies roam free - is a super short drive away. Whether your thing is shellcombing, searching for ponies, or sunbathing, this is the most spectacular Beach we’ve had the pleasure to call our home.

Can’t get away for a full week? No problem! Kindred Tides is part of our Flex-Stay Program which allows a 3 night minimum stay all year long!
