Lake Erie's charming 4 season Lake Houz with BBQ, Fire Pit & more

Our LakeHouz is 4 Season & accommodates up to 6 people w/ 2 bedrooms including a spacious loft with king bed , electric fireplace, workspace, smart TV, mini fridge & private Ensuite with Jacuzzi Tub & stand up shower… a perfect little retreat with great lots of windows and gorgeous views Sunrises on the lake. The main floor bedroom has a comfy Queen bed & quality linens, lots of drawer space & walk-in closet.

Our spacious family room includes a wood burning stove for those chilly fall / winter days and evenings, a Queen size Murphy Bed, smart TV , a large family friendly coffee table perfect for the family to sit around for hours playing games or just hanging out. We offer plenty of books, magazine, puzzles and games… something for everyone, including children’s books & crossword puzzles.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with spice rack, mixing bowls, air fryer, hand mixer, rice cooker & more! The dining table seats 6 + 3 bar stools for gathering around the island with family & friends. We also have a fun high top bar/ table for a cup of morning Joe overlooking beautiful lake views, Watching ducks and fishing boats on the lake, this table also doubles as a workspace fitted w/ a power bar & USB charging.

Our living spaces are all designed with family and friends gathering in mind. Each area is spacious enough for everyone to hang out, including our fun sunny Screened in porch perfectly fitted with a bar fridge for extra drinks, a comfy conversational set, patio table for meals over looking beautiful sunsets, coat & boot rack, and more games & magazines living rooms.

Our outdoor spaces include a propane BBQ, fire pit, outdoor dining for 6, and more.
Our LakeHouz has been coined a birders paradise with the most beautiful views of sunrises & sunsets… It doesn’t hurt that we’re Neighbours with local Birding guide and expert “Pelee Birding”.

This isn’t just a cottage. It’s truly a home away from home and offers all the comforts you’d want & more. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do and as much our guests have since August 2022 … making memories for years to come

An amazing place to stay right on the lake!The attention to detail is commendable. The cottage, or more accurately the house, is spacious and well laid out. The open concept kitchen and dining area is bright and airy and the living room area is well appointed and very comfortable. Everything worked perfectly and was beyond our expectations. Our mornings on the deck listening to the waves and watching the gulls fly by was incredibly relaxing. Evenings around the sheltered campfire was the icing on the cake at the end of the day. The hosts were very quick to respond to our questions and we felt safe and secure knowing they were only a quick message away!We hope to be back again soon!Highly recommended! 10/10!

This place is so cute and welcoming! We can’t say enough good things about staying here. The beds and other furniture are comfortable, it’s pet friendly, and has everything you need to enjoy the amazing view.

Upon arriving we were pleasantly surprised with a welcome bag from our hosts that included a local bottle of wine and thoughtful treats. The house is very warm and inviting with great personal touches. If you love to cook the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Our morning routine included using the coffee bar and sitting outside enjoying the morning view over the lake. During our visit there was a heat wave but you couldn’t tell with the house and the A/C worked wonderfully. The layout is very pet friendly and our small senior dog adjusted quite quickly, napping in the sun on the exterior deck while we relaxed and read. We lucked out with the weather, however we were not worried as the living room was stocked with fun board games, books and a smart tv.The property is 10 minutes from town for anything you need, but far enough away that you hear nothing but birds and the sound of waves off the lake.There were incredible taco spots and many of the wineries are pet friendly.This trip was exactly what we wanted, and would definitely rebook another time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were first rate. The kitchen was well stocked, more than we expected. It was very quiet for sleeping and a beautiful location. We would visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Houz. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. The House had everything we needed. It was very peaceful listening to the waves crash against the shore. Looking forward to another stay.

We fell in love with Cottonwood Lake Houz as soon as we saw it. We have a lot of fond memories of this place that we'd like to share with you.

Whether it is waking up in the morning to the sounds of birds & water breaking against the rocks, spending tranquil evenings sitting on the deck by the Chiminea sipping a cocktail, roasting marshmallows by the firepit, playing board games or watching TV by a roaring fire from the Woodstove; these are only a few memories you will experience!

Cottonwood Lake Houz is equipped with a fully functional kitchen that you will enjoy cooking in. Appliances include a Keurig coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge, electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster and an air fryer.

Work effectively and efficiently if you must by using the free high speed Wi-Fi service, the difference being you can do so from sitting on the deck by the water!
