Charming and Historic Apartment in Capitol Hill

Summary:
Stylish 1st floor apartment in Capitol Hill. Centrally located! Entire apartment located on the 1st floor of a historic row home. Walk to Capitol Hill, the National Mall, Union Station, Eastern Market, and the H Street corridor. Two blocks from Whole Foods and so many restaurants. Sleeps up to four adults, queen size bed and queen size pull-out sofa. Includes all the comforts of home. Enjoy your coffee or cocktail on the outdoor brick patio after a long day seeing the sights.

The Space:
Step out the door and glance along the tree lined street at the US Capitol building right in front of you, only 20 minutes on foot.

Sip your morning coffee in the front garden, or unwind with a glass of wine in the backyard!  We can comfortably sleep 4 guests in the following bedroom layout;

~ Queen sized bed in the primary bedroom (+ bathroom)
~ Queen sized pullout couch in the living room
 
Guests are greeted by an intimate living room with a large smart TV (stream and enjoy your personal Netflix / Hulu / Amazon accounts), perfect for a cozy evening in. Walk through the living room and enter the fully equipped kitchen, begging to be enjoyed. Walk through the kitchen to find the cozy bedroom and en suite bathroom. Use the door in the primary to access the backyard.

Choose from TWO charming outdoor spaces; the front garden for the best in people watching or the backyard area, complete with grill and umbrella, ideal for relaxing in the warmer evenings and making new memories with your group!

Guest Access:
There is a family living upstairs. Please note that the everyday sounds and noises of family life (footsteps, stairs, kids playing, etc.) can be heard in both directions. You will undoubtedly hear them (and they will hear you) as they go about their everyday life.

The Neighborhood:
Capitol Hill is one of the city’s most popular areas, with historical rowhouses and markets plus a vibrant nightlife and dining scene. Head to this neighborhood for both its government buildings like the U.S. Capitol and the Supreme Court, easy access to the National Monuments, and the surrounding historic, walkable, restaurant-filled blocks.

Getting Around:
We are located just 0.1 miles from the brand new DC Streetcar (currently operating free of charge) that runs down H all the way to Union Station - the epicenter of DC`s action! We are also one to three blocks away from several grocery stores, Capital Bikeshares and bus lines, including the D6, 92, 90, X8 & more (the stop is literally a stone’s throw from the unit, step out your door and have the city at your fingertips!). If you feel like taking a stroll, Eastern Market, Union Market, Capitol Hill, the Capitol, and Union Station are all within walking distance.  
The D6 Bus can take you directly to the Capitol Building, or you can walk there in under 20 minutes!
