About this property

Bayona 2: Family Beach Charm

Summary:

Family and friends are the most important factor in making any getaway great. Yet location comes an incredibly close second. And at this inviting coastal apartment, you can combine the two in a stay so memorable it will immediately transform into the memory of a lifetime.

The Space:

Part of a complex called Bayona - whose whitewashed surrounds bring to mind the Greek islands - the two-bedroom getaway makes its home in the lush enclave of Little Cove. This gives it easy access to the coast’s main tourist hubs but distance enough to maintain peace and privacy.

Sitting within a spacious floorplan that creates a feature of beautiful timber, the two sunwashed bedrooms are positioned together, making it easy for parents to keep a close eye on little ones. This feeling of togetherness extends through to the bright and airy lifestyle zone, which encompasses a spacious kitchen to inspire home chefs, a dining zone to bring everyone together for meals and a comfortable lounge space primed for relaxation.

All without breaking the budget.

Taking full advantage of its appealing location, wide expanses of glass enclose the entry point from the lifestyle hub to the great outdoors, framing a view that would be perfect on any holiday postcard. The best place to drink it in, of course, is the tiled alfresco balcony where, depending on the time of day, you can enjoy the space in myriad ways. Think breakfast bacon sizzling on the barbecue, evening drinks served at the table and chairs or a sunlounger that’s tailor made for time with a good book. The balcony also serves one other important purpose – to inspire you to explore the apartment’s verdant bushland surrounds and the spectacular ocean depths you can glimpse through the foliage. It’s just a matter of working out where to go first.

For those who love beaches, Little Cove may not have the highest profile, but with smaller crowds, crystal clear waters and its own stretch of golden sand, it’s the perfect place to set up camp under a beach umbrella. Or, for natural wonders of a greener kind, a short walk – less than 1km – leads into the delights of Noosa National Park, which has walking routes suitable for all ages and fitness levels. This is one spot you’ll want to remember a camera as native flora and fauna catch the eye at every turn.

Head the other way, and the coast’s buzzing tourist heart awaits, as the twin delights of Hastings St and Main Beach unfold before your eyes. There’s so much to see and do here the term spoiled for choice is more than apt, and the combinations are as unique as they are interesting.

Take a stroll along the shoreline before wandering along both sides of the cosmopolitan retail and restaurant precinct. Fill a bucket with sand that transforms into a sandcastle before spending your time on a browse and buy expedition. Or, answer the call for a swim or surf before making a reservation to try one of the Coast’s amazing creative restaurants known and celebrated by the most ardent of foodies.

It’s everything you could want to do in the most spectacular of locations. Bring your family and friends along and consider your bucket list fulfilled.
