We’re so sorry your arrival experience did not meet your expectations and caused this low review. We’re unclear on where the miscommunication occurred. When you called regarding early check-in, our team explained to you that “we do not guarantee early check-in, but if it is ready before 4 p.m., we will text you on day of arrival letting you know.” In our conversation with you on the recorded line stated you understood this, so we’re not sure why you thought we would be able to accommodate a morning check-in at 10:13 a.m. You would have had immediate full access to the pool and resort amenities by following the pre-arrival directions in the email you received. This property requires guests fill out a form and pay a resort fee in order to receive property wrist bands and access to property amenities. This is a resort rule, not Newman-Dailey rule. Our team assisted you over the phone in completing the required form and ensuring the security officer was able to get you your wristbands on a Sunday when their office is closed. And we were able to accommodate your early arrival request when the condo was inspected at 1:48 p.m. and your family was provided access at 2 p.m. (2 hours prior to standard check-in). We truly pride ourselves on our 100% performance guarantee for prompt reliable service. Our team followed normal policy procedures and did hospitably work to accommodate an early check in for you and make sure you had access to the properties amenities. We’re sorry that your frustration that the condo was not ready in the morning made you angry. We hope the rest of your stay and your parents 50th Anniversary overshadowed your arrival experience, and you leave with wonderful memories from your celebration vacation.
