If you want a beautiful and peaceful place with gorgeous views, this is IT! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and the hosts thought of every detail. We will be back but we will stay longer. :)

Enjoyed this Lake house and the great view!

This lake house was very comfortable and well equipped. The owners were easy to communicate with and left a very nice welcome gift to enjoy during our stay. The view off of the back deck was spectacular. We spent time out there every morning and evening. There was a full moon while we were there and we got some great pics of the moon on the water. It was so beautiful!

The Very Best

We have stayed in many VRBO’s throughout the country and this property is or favorite!!! From the minute we walked in the door it felt like home. So comfortable with all the amenities. Kitchen was fully furnished with everything you would ever need. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood with a beautiful view of Lake Eufaula. The hosts were awesome and very responsive to any requests or questions we had. Definitely look forward to spending more time at this gem of a property!!!

The house was so very lovely and so clean! The owners were fabulous as was the house keeper, who was our contact for during the stay. The all were so friendly and helpful! The view from the back deck was absolutely stunning! The beds were very comfy and cozy as well as the furniture! There was a wonderful collection of books provided for our leisure as well as magazines! Everything was perfect for a relaxing, quiet and peaceful getaway! I would highly recommend the “Highland House” and I hope to be staying there again in the near future!

Perfect! Quiet, private, serene surroundings with stunning views of the lake. Large, covered, wrap-around deck with multiple seating areas and great amenities. Beautifully landscaped with feeders to attract a variety of birds and frequent deck-visitor, Billy, the squirrel and pals.The house is beautifully decorated with exquisite views of the lake visible though the large windows forming one wall. All of the seating is exceptionally comfortable, and the beds most comfortable.The kitchen and bath are thoughtfully appointed with everything a discerning guest may want. The hosts greet you with a thoughtful card and delightful gift basket of goodies.Absolutely top drawer all the way around. If you’re a small party and you’re not here, you’re in the wrong place!!!

My friend and I went for a ladies trip. We spent Thursday thru Sunday there and loved every minute. We enjoyed ourselves so much. The View!!! I mean really. It’s so great. The house was very clean and very comfortable. The beds were also comfortable. It was also well stocked with all the things you’d need. Plenty of towel wash clothes etc. The kitchen also well stocked. The owners landscaping is very pretty and adds to the relaxing feel of the place. The owners were on site while we were there but it wasn’t a problem. They were great at allowing us our privacy and we barely even knew they were on site. We still had the house space to ourselves. They also left such a nice gift basket for us upon arrival. Thank you Victoria and Chuck for a lovely stay. We will definitely stay here again.

The property was well maintained with great amenities. Views from the deck were beautiful. Cool landscaping. Unfortunately the toilet broke in the evening of the second day. And they check in and checkout times were changed after we reserved the stay. Hour later on check in hour earlier on checkout. Had to knock a star off.

Recommended-Clean, peaceful, beautiful!

Hosts were wonderful and very caring and accommodating! We originally booked our stay, but experienced an unforseen death in the family. Hosts were very understanding and let us reschedule our stay even with very short notice.The night we did stay there were tornadoes in the area, and the host contacted us with weather warnings and gave safety instructions.This home truly is such a beautiful and peaceful setting! Views from the deck are phenomenal. Great for squirrel and bird watching as well. The large living room windows allow for the same beautiful view from indoors.The home is very clean and well equipped with kitchen dishes, utensils and supplies. Bathroom shower with good water pressure, even a bidet on the toilet, (I laughed at first, but now maybe thinking about getting one, surprisingly refreshing. 🤔😆) Beds and pillows were very comfortable. One bedroom has glass door access and also offers beautiful balcony view Game table was very cute feature, stocked with puzzles, cards, and other options. The home also features voice controls, we should have read the home instructions closer, but even without using voice controls there were no issues. Upon arrival there was a generous welcoming gift and info about the owners, that made us feel so welcomed! We cannot recommend this home or hosts highly enough, and hope to return when possible.Thanks so much for making our BFF girls weekend April 2024 so wonderful!!
