Sunset Cliffs holiday lettings

Views of the ocean were incredible and the neighbourhood is so lovely and quiet. Caroline was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. We stayed with our 10 month old as well as both sets of grandparents. The full kitchen is great and we cooked a lot. Big fridge that we were able to stock up for the week. We used the dishwasher daily and washer/dryer and everything worked great. Take out from Little Chef for Chinese was yuummm and Caroline has a lot of menus and advice if you need it! A few details that we would have hoped would be better, we had to wash the pots and pans before using them as there was quite a bit of residue. The beds were very soft and noticeable amount of dog hair throughout the house (we probably noticed this more because we were crawling around with baby). I had to go into downtown for work during the week and a Lyft ride was always easy to get and took 15-20 minutes to get to the bottom of Gaslamp. On the way back though the apps GPS would take drivers to the next street down so just need to be aware so tell the driver. When we did drive into town we visited La Jolla, Ocean Beach (OB Lodge/Hodad’s), New Children’s Museum, Natural History Museum and Fleet Science Center, all easy drives. Overall we were here 9 nights and enjoyed our stay. We will miss waking up to the sounds of the ocean and watching surfers from the kitchen!
