Utility Disclaimer:
Utility fees are included in the total rental amount. The guest shall be responsible for the costs associated with excessive usage of utilities during the term of the reservation. Excessive usage is defined as utility costs over $50.00 per night of the reservation.

Cleaning Disclaimer: One light cleaning per every seven (7) nights booked, and one end of stay cleaning is included in the reservation total. Guests may request additional cleanings at their expense.

Events Policy: Events are prohibited unless express approval is provided.

Special Use Policy: Reservations that involve hosting events (small or large), commercial activities, or other non-traditional uses -- including rotating groups of guests during the same stay -- require prior written approval from the host. Additional fees and/or an increased security deposit may be imposed.

Payment Method: Balance payments made with credit card are capped at $3,500. Payments over $3,500 shall be made by check, ACH or wire.

Security Deposit Disclaimer: Although rare, accidental damage does happen during a stay. In lieu of a security deposit, guests can rest easy knowing that this property is covered with up to $5,000 of damage protection. Coverage details are provided in the booking agreement.

The guest experience for this property is managed by StayMarquis, a local vacation rental management company. By booking this property, you will receive a dedicated "Guest Experience Manager" who can help facilitate any request, from grocery shopping to organizing a private chef. You will also have access to 24/7 support that can assist with any question that might arise during your stay. It is important to note that any maintenance tasks are performed by the owner of this property.

Mom & Daughters Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Very convenient to the town of Sag Harbor. House was very comfortable in every way. The only thing I would recommend is to outfit all of the windows with some kind of window coverings. Other than that, I would highly recommend a stay here.

Great end of summer stay

The house is clean and nicely furnished with plenty of space for the family. The yard was big and provided a lot of opportunity for outdoor play. The road is busy but once crossed it is a short 10 minute walk to Clam Island beach. Great location for exploring the Hampton’s and Shelter Island. The host was attentive and detailed in instructions.

Extremely Disappointing

In reviewing your website, I assumed that StayMarquis represented high end residences as evidenced by the display of properties. No doubt a copywriter (or AI) wrote the property description, but after our experience I felt it was very misleading and “fluffed” for good reason as follows: • Inadequate Closet Space/ No Dressers: It was blatantly apparent that the first major issue was the complete lack of closet or dresser space to put clothes – or should I say no dressers and 1 tiny closet was all that is available which was great for a few shirts, and dresses, but that is it!!! There was no closet or dresser in the second bedroom at all. We had to resort to laying out all of our clothes in the second bedroom • No Window Shades/Lack of Privacy – I was amazed to see that there are no window shades anywhere in the house and just 2 see-through lace ones on just one window in the bedrooms and felt that this was an intrusion on our privacy as anyone can see through the windows • No Place To Hang Towles In The Upstairs Bathroom – self explanatory as there are no hooks or bar to place a towel once you use it. • Inoperable TV – on several days, the TV signal was so weak, we could not watch anything. Well, this was enough to mark this so-called vacation a horrible experience. I am requesting a refund of no less than 50% of what I paid for the or I will take this to my bank and social media.
