Pacific City home in neighborhood

The house was nice! It dies not have any used and looks out on to a parking lot. The futon is broken, so my daughter and her husband had to take the cushion off and sleep on the floor. There weee no batteries in remote. The couches are so wore down that we had to put bed pillows on them to sit in. We stay in a lot of VRBO’s around the world and this was one of our most disappointing ones.

Great Family Place

Stayed here for a handful of days with our family. Location is a close walk to the beach, but it was unclear which path we could take due to the No Trespassing signs. Appreciated the extra bedding for the cooler nights, and the fireplace was snugly. Ample amount of towels for our group of 7. Traditional coffee maker, so don't bring k-cups for coffee. I always bring both if not specified, so it wasn’t a big deal. The blackout curtains were great for sleeping. Still no ice cream scoop or waffle maker, in case you expect one. Otherwise dishes were ample for our needs. The house is next to the Community Center within view of a large parking lot. Security wasn’t a concern, but privacy could be. Our dog wasn't a fan of seeing people walk by our back porch as there is no whole fence for privacy. Also, this is out of control of the owners, but a good FYI: some people "camped" in the lot overnight in their trailers while spending the day at the beach, so we could hear them next to the house at night and their kiddos walked there dogs around the back porch field and cul de sac. The rest of the housing area itself was quiet. Note the house is for sale, but it wasn’t an issue. Overall had a great time and would stay here again.

Much needed time away with the family

This place served as a great hub. We spent most of our time at the beach or neighboring restaurants. When the weather got nasty it served as a very cozy place to hang out and play games and break bread together as a family.

Weekend Get away

Overall the stay was ok but disappointed at a few things considering the price of the cleaning fee and booking fee. The carpet in one of the rooms was filthy with several large stains and slight odor. The couch was extremely worn and the leather was peeling off. The kitchen was NOT stocked well...no basic seasoning or PAM etc. However, the kitchen appliances were very nice. The bathrooms and other areas were clean and tidy. I confirmed that the house was empty (not rented the day before our arrival) and was told that housekeeping approved an early check in but was told I would be charged $50+tax to check in at 2pm vs 4pm. They did let us check in at 3pm for no charge. The pin code to use for the door lock that I was emailed was incorrect and on the second day found the correct door code through the portal. The lockbox code was correct and we were able to get the key and get in the house that way. The house is a very short walk to the beach and the upstairs room would be great for younger kids and has it's own bathroom and TV.

nice place very clean

very clean and spacious place, but only on the inside. it’s a pretty close together neighborhood, i could see directly into our neighbors house from the master bedroom window. and since it’s dog friendly, lots of barking dogs, but the inside was very nice and clean, just not as close to the beach or secluded as we thought.

Nice comfy house, great location

Our family & kids enjoyed our stay at this house. Our stay was very comfortable, enjoyable & memorable, many thanks to the host. The house has the perfect location, close to beach & river, safe & peaceful place away from other busy places.
