Summerhouse Cottage

Esta moderna casa en la playa de Pacific City está ubicada en Shorepine Village. Un hogar ideal para familias y mascotas, perfecto para una escapada. Disfrute de relajarse en el gran patio, andar en bicicleta por el tranquilo vecindario y la facilidad de un corto paseo a la playa. También tendrás acceso completo a la casa club del vecindario, que incluye un gimnasio, una mesa de billar y un televisor de pantalla plana.

En la planta baja, en la planta baja, puede disfrutar del calor de la chimenea de gas y hundirse en el cómodo sofá y las sillas de la sala de estar mientras ve su programa de televisión favorito o navega por la colección de DVD de las casas. La cocina está totalmente equipada con una mesa de comedor para 6 y 4 taburetes en el mostrador de la cocina y le ofrece opciones para comer. Fuera de la sala de dinging hay un patio con una barbacoa de gas, una mesa y una silla al aire libre y algunas sillas que son perfectas para relajarse mientras escucha el océano y huele el aire salado. Nice house in a nice location

We had a great stay here. The house itself had a great layout for our family. We also appreciated how close the house is to the beach and to a couple of restaurants.

Very lovely, and I think you could make it even lovelier! 1.The coffee carafe wasn't compatible with the coffee maker (Black & Decker) The water built up in the basket and would have made horrible mess if we didn't catch. We found another maker in a cupboard with the right carafe. 2.You have so many pots, pans & knives to cook with, but no salt & pepper? 3. Sink in main bathroom upstairs slow to drain. Couldn't use.4. This is the weirdest of all. Husband finally figured out the hot water in master tub & shower and I decided to try the Jacuzzi tub. Enjoyed, and after draining, there was black dirt, not sand, all over. I know I wasn't that dirty!We will definately be back (if you'll have us)

Perfect March Madness beach get-away!

Thank you for the perfect place to regroup as a family. We love the beach and basketball -- we had a blast and also imoortant weekend of rest and relaxation. This house fit all five adults' needs : ).

Family fun walk to the sand

We loved this cozy townhouse. The neighborhood is great for taking walks and scooter rides. The city and shops where a short walk away. The beach was beautiful and a quick walk also. House is a great size and layout for our family

Great location and great house

We love staying in this neighborhood. House was very clean and had all the amenities we expected. Nice layout for family time in the house and quick walk to the beach. Comfy beds and peaceful back deck. Would stay again!

We had a good time, planning my son's wedding.

We loved staying in Stonepine Village as it was quiet and tastefully landscaped. The beach was a short walk up and over the dune where we had the place to ourselves. The house was as described and had most of everything we needed. We certainly would return!

Enjoyable

We really like our stay here. Great central location in Pacific City. The property was very comfortable and every detail was thought of. The beds were comfy. The beach is a short walk a way. The only thing I’d complain about was the listing said there is a hot tub and there was no information on how the access the community center if the hot tub is there but there definitely isn’t a hot tub on the property. Maybe they were referring to the jetted tub, not sure.

Pacific City duplex great stay great price

Pros - Good layout for people to move around, pet friendly and NO animal smell/s, big screen tv in living room, wifi strong and fast, couch and chairs comfortable, nice back deck that gets sun but also has some privacy due to lots of trees, beach easy walk, price for size/bedrooms and bathrooms including the jetted tub is great, lots of hot water, lots of windows that open to beach air, you can hear the waves/beach, bike and walk path easy, safe and close to downtown, whole house is clean, beds big and comfortable.Cons (minor complaints): can not view beach directly even from highest point(due to large dunes), beach access is through a steep dune (quite a leg burner), laundry washer broken, no tv in second bedroom, tv too small in main bedroom, no medium o large pitcher juice mixer container, door handle to deck needs replacing, no fenced area to turn our dog loose in back or front off leash, could use a mix of bike sizes and/or types ex. beach cruiser style and a couple for larger adults missing (but thank you for having bikes for us to ride!).Summary - would come back to this spot and recommend to others.

Great location

The unit was clean and was desirable since it allowed dogs. It was real close to town and the beach(both in walking distance). I didn’t realize it was a town home initially with connection to another unit but we were unbothered by neighbors. Everything worked and we did not have any issues. It was disappointing there was no coffee or tea available but filters and pot were there so that was good. We just ran to the store down the road. I will stay again.

Didn't Want To Leave The Summerhouse

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 loved the The Summerhouse in Pacific City. We have 3 kids, age 10 and 12 and the house had all the amenities and more that we could've asked for... bikes, beach toys, games, kites and more. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes on a path right next to the home. The house is even more charming and spacious than the pictures on website. We highly recommend this property and can't wait to come back. The only con was getting into the front dood. There are 2 lock boxes titled guest and owner. The code we received only worked for the owner box and the front door required some pulling and jiggling of key to get it to open. Other than that...a perfect stay.

Great place! Very comfortable.

We had a great stay. The home was as described. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking anything you could want. Living space was spacious offering plenty of room for our party of six. The only thing was that the furniture was covered in white dog hair. I understand when you rent a place that allows pets, some hair is to be expected. This, however, was excessive. we simply bought a lint roller and cleaned the cushions front and back. Not a big deal just more of an inconvenience. I don't think it is a reflection on the owners as it's inconsistent with how the rest of the house has been cared for. More than likely it is a result of somebody who stayed there before us and didn't follow the directions to keep dogs off of the furniture. Maybe the cleaning team could be aware of it moving forward. Nice place with great beach access.

Summerhouse Cottage

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental "DUPLEX" was very nice, although you could hear the neighbors. The rental is described as a "HOUSE" but it is not. It's a duplex. It was very comfortable and clean and we stocked with everything we needed. The front door lock needs replaced. It's difficult to get inside because the lock is old. When I called management for help, they couldn't help me, but said the housekeepers say to turn the lock to the right. It doesn't work, left or right no matter what you do. The trick is to pull the door toward you as you turn the key to the right. Took 15 minutes to figure it out. Either there needs to be specific instructions to open the door or the best thing would be to replace the lock. Frustrating!!! Also it's frustrating that you can only have 2 cars at a DUPLEX that sleeps 7. I called to see where our 3rd car could park and they sent me to Pelican Brew Pub as the closest optional parking. Well, there was no parking at Pelican Brew Pub because they were super busy, and you can't leave your car there overnight. Too bad there wasn't an easier and closer place to park. Although these these were frustrating, if you know exactly what you're renting, DUPLEX, parking limitations, and tricky front door, then the rental was fine.

“Homey”

So homey and clean. Great location 2 minutes from the beach. Deer greeted us in the morning. Great for families! Would definitely stay again! Only complaint: the beds were a bit hard and we did have to deal with some ants in the kitchen. Overall, I would give this place a 9 out of 10.

Lovely home, poor communication from property management

The home itself was perfect for our family. It was tastefully decorated, the kitchen well appointed, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great. However, we had incredibly poor communication from the property management and it really hindered our stay. To start we had been told check in was at 4pm. We arrived at 4:05 and the cleaners were still there. Despite having driven 4 hours with 4 kids and really wanting to get out of the truck we waiting on the side of the road for 30 min and finally knocked on the door. The cleaners said we were supposed to have received a phone call saying they wouldn’t be done until 6pm. We never received that phone call. I tried texting the property management and didn’t hear back for over 1.5 hours. The cleaners let us know if we didn’t mind folding all of the towels we could get in at 5 instead. After 5 hours in the car we readily agreed. That wouldn’t have been a big issue, just a minor annoyance. But then the next day after spending the morning at the beach we went back to house to find a strange man there. Inside. Without having had any sort of communication saying he would be coming. It was a maintenance person fixing the broken garbage disposal. He was nice as could be but we were all very shaken to find someone in the house. From that day on every time we left the house we all questioned if it was going to be safe or if we would find someone else inside upon returning. It was incredibly unsettling and upsetting. The response made by Meredith Lodging over 3 hours later was “the work order was made by the previous guest which is why we weren’t contacted.” All this to say...the house was charming but I’m not sure we’ll stay there again if they continue to use Meredith Lodging.

comfortable stay

Had a great weekend, the house was as advertised. Only problem was the internet didn't work. The property manager sent someone out to fix it at 7pm on a Thursday night but was unable to fix it.
