The house was perfect for our family. It was very clean, the sheets and towels were soft & comfy, and plenty of extra blankets keep us warm watching the snow outside. The appliances were clean and looked fairly new. Our only complaint was that the bed was very hard, so we didn't sleep well. We did grab an egg crate pad and that helped a ton. Will 100% be back next time we are visiting our family in CT!

This apartment provided all our needs in terms of space, kitchen and bathroom amenities, comfortable bed, closet space, and deck. It is well suited for those wanting to explore Litchfield. It is everything it claims to be, clean and quiet. We hope to stay again next year.

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our experience here so much! We were able to bring our sweet pomeranians, making our trip special, and the house was so inviting. We walked in to a bottle of wine and two glasses waiting for us, making the arrival relaxing. The house was well stocked and we spent so much time relaxing on the back deck. Great visit and we will certainly be back again!

Nice place with great location.

The Connecticut Retreat has pretty much everything that we needed for our week long stay. We liked the outdoor patio for our morning coffee and the close distance to beautiful Litchfield downtown.

Clean and comfortable

Great location, clean and comfortable apartment. The back porch was great for sipping our complimentary bottle of wine. Walking distance to White flower Farm garden store. Short drive to the cute town.

Very clean home / great location for visiting many local vineyards and quaint towns. Easy to find various restaurants or shops in the area (5 miles or so). No issues whatsoever. Didn’t know the home was a multi-unit (3 apts) but had no issues or noise from others - on state road but very quiet. Loved sitting outside each morning on the deck with the sun and view. Definitely would stay here once again.

The property is as pictured. Neat and clean, well stocked kitchen with items for cooking and eating. Toiletries , linen . towels provided. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us on the table. Nightlights for nightime. Nice deck to relax on. Convenient location for Litchfield an White Memorial Conservatory. The area and weather were great. A lovely stay!

Birding at White Memorial

We really appreciated the location which allowed us to go back and forth from White Memorial, having lunch at the apartment. The kitchen equipment was great. We cooked two dinners and went to the Village Restaurant for one dinner. That was delicious. I would recommend this VRBO to everyone.

Wonderful Stay

This property is just what we were looking for. It was very clean and well stocked with every supply we needed. We were in town for a wedding and couldn't have happier with the location. The welcome bottle of wine waiting for us was a nice touch. Since we are from Connecticut originally and visit family often, we will definitely be staying at this quaint rental every time we travel.

A weekend in Litchfield County

Friends and I stayed while visiting Litchfield County. Exceptionally clean, seemed newly renovated. The wine on the table was a welcome plus.

Beautiful Little Get Away

This was my first time not only using Evolve but staying in someones rental home and boy was this a wonderful first experience! I reserved this place for my wedding and it was gorgeous! This home was so clean and the bed was so comfortable. There was plenty of parking and boy that view! If you are staying in this area stay here!!

Sweet and Simple :)

Everything about the property was a good experience. Finding the location and getting into the property was very simple. I also like the added "survival guide" the owner left for us for things in the area and contact information. Next time I'm in the area, this will be the first property I look to stay at while I'm there.

Wonderful location and very clean accommodations

Super clean, fully stocked house with anything you need for your stay, great location close to everything we wanted to visit. Very nice owners who even left us a bottle of wine for our stay! The only negative thing I can say is that the bed in the master bedroom made noise every time I turned during the night. So, if you move around in your sleep, bring earplugs! Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Perfect Place for a small family

The communications prior to our stay were seamless and quick. The house was just as pictured but a little bit better! The place was spotless and extremely well maintained. The Welcome book was full of suggestions for things to do in the area and instructions for the TV, Wi-Fi and thermostat. When we visit CT again, we will definitely see if it is available again.

Not the best night sleep

Main bed (queen) was not the most comfortable. Spent one night listening to something inside the wall scratching. Guessing it was a mouse but it was on and off all night. Final night we were just about to sleep when the neighbor came home and listed to them for a while. Don’t think they were super loud but clearly not insulated well as we could hear them talking, using the restroom and showering. Disappointing as we really only used the place to sleep as we visited family during the day. The host we spoke to was nice and accommodated an hour early checkin.
