Property was perfect just enough away from Seward that you feel out of the city but close enough that you can get dinner and do fun activities in Seward and not be far away. We had a fire on the beach every night and the train passing by was fun. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

I've stayed at at least a dozen vacation home rentals and this was the best one by far. A lovely log home, beautifully decorated (including with the owner's own landscape paintings) and well stocked with amenities. The beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. The vacation home is located in a beautiful area just a short stroll from Kenai Lake and a short drive to Seward and the Kenai fjords. Staying at this home was a wonderful experience that my family and I will always cherish.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat! It was the perfect spot for our family of 5 to enjoy the Kenai Peninsula (we spent a few days in the Seward area and one in Homer). Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the home was clean and well-suited for our needs. We didn't get to spend as much time down by the lake as we had hoped but the view is beautiful! We're missing Alaska already!

I have rented several VRBO’s over the years and this location was the best by a long shot! Everything was spotless! The bathrooms were spotless! The kitchen was spotless! My wife commented that this was the best equipped kitchen ever (could use a few beer glasses). The outside property was beautiful. We were surprised to see the Alaskan RR between the house and the lake but looked forward to seeing the train twice a day. The fire pit located down by the lake was a pleasant spot to relax. Overall this was a great experience for us. Even my older brother who lives in Alaska was impressed with the property. Will definitely rent this property again.

Absolutely wonderful place

What a joy to stay in this property! It fits the bill for a large group and is close to everything, including your own access to the lake and nearby trails. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful Cabin, Great Location on the water, owner wonderful to work with

It was a pleasure staying at this cabin in the woods. It had everything we needed and the owners were great to work with. Easy access to Seward and right on the water.

We loved the privacy and beauty of this location. The daily train was a huge hit with our grandson. The lake and nearby trails were enjoyed by all and the house was nicely outfitted. Amazing cabin on the lake. Easy drive to Seward to eat, shop, and fish. Nice weather to hang out on the back patio. Cool to see the train pass by several time a day. Spent several day just hanging out down by the lake.

Perfectly located! A total gem.

Great location, the cabin is awesome. Truly a special place. Make sure and grab a bag of marshmallows, because relaxing by the fire pit on the lake beachfront, skipping stones with the kids is one of those memories that'll stick with ya. The cabin has all the comforts you could want, and its an easy drive to Seward, tons of great hiking trails, and some of the most beautiful sights

Quiet area, beautiful home!

We loved this house! The distance from Seward was exactly what we were wanting. A bit secluded but not terribly far from town. The lake was beautiful amd we enjoyed reading the history of the home in the information book!

The house was amazing. It was super comfortable and absolutely beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay. Marion took care of every request in a prompt manner. The house is gorgeous and having the lake right down a short path on the back of the house was perfect (breathtaking views). We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Excellent accommodations

If your looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy some amazing Alaskan scenery then you have found what your looking for. Marion and Jesse have created a wonderful atmosphere to begin whatever ever your Alaska experience may be. You will find everything you will need for your home away from home in this comfy cabin with easy access to Seward and the Kenai Peninsula. We look forward to our next stay, thank you.

The log cabin was truly a delight. This is one of the best rental home experiences that we have ever had. The log home was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. I cannot recommend this rental more, my only hesitation is that it will become so popular that I will not be able to book it again.
