Hosted by husband & wife Steve & Jude, keen to share their little piece of paradise.
NOTE: If you're travelling with pets please click the "number of traveller's" box & then check ✅ the travelling with pets box at the time of booking.
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.
Relax in the peace and quiet of Misty Valley's beautiful natural location amongst the trees. Enjoy the walking paths filled with the sounds of native birds ,while keeping an eye open for the local Wallabies.
You'll feel a million miles from the Hustle and Bustle ,yet only 8 mins to town & 15 mins to several beautiful beaches.
The space
Misty Valley cabin is fully self contained & separate accommodation . 1 bedroom plus bathroom , full kitchen , living & dining, private covered deck with BBQ & bushland views. Surrounded by towering forest trees & bush walking trails.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the cabin which is private & separate from the main house.
Other things to note:
Please keep pets out of the carpet areas if they are wet or dirty & off beds & furniture at all times.
Please keep pets on leash at all times whilst outside fenced areas. For their safety and wildlife.
Enjoy the serenity of this natural bushland setting , with abundant birdlife & the occasional visit from the resident Wallabies while enjoying a stroll along the bush paths.
Take in the beautiful night sky & Milky Way free from urban light .

It was the most beautiful location, everything you could possibly need provided for our overnight stay on route from Brisbane to Sydney. Next time will stay for longer. Henry my dog enjoyed his treats and exploring the garden.

Hidden bliss

Wish we stayed longer! Just an overnight stay on our way north but a perfect stopover. Restful and tranquil. A Comfortable and beautiful property. Jenny and Steve were welcoming from the moment we booked. Will definitely visit again next time with our fur kids

Amazing

The most beautiful setting in a fantastic location.Hosts were amazing, went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one.The beds were so comfy and the house was so clean and well equipped . Another fantastic stay

Rebooked a longer stay here after a lovely weekend break a few months ago The property remains well appointed, everything is thought of from soaps, shampoos, and snacks to leads, beds, and treats for fur babies! Steve and Jude had lovingly expanded the fenced dog areas which my two pups were thrilled with. We will definitely be back, thank you again for another wonderful stay Steve and Jude!

Beautiful property and a very happy dog!

Misty Valley is a beautiful property with a perfect self contained and seperate guest quarters. My dog had a great time and enjoyed several play sessions with the hosts two most lovely Golden Retrievers. Plenty of room for walking and play sessions with the dog and a fully set up kitchen for self catering. It was a perfect stay. Thanks heaps folks!

The perfect tranquil sanctuary!

I stayed at Misty Valley with my 2 dogs I was not charged extra for the animals, and upon arrival they were delighted to find their very own special treats and several comfy dog beds. There is a large dog run and several smaller fenced areas for fur families to enjoy We were looking for somewhere private and peaceful, and found that and more at Misty Valley. The owners are very lovely and accomodating yet the property is completely secluded and private There is so much I could say about what made the property special. The welcome hamper, luxurious carpet in the bedroom, the outlook over the forrest and dam, and the comfort of the seating in the dining and living room just names a few
 Phone reception isn’t the best, however I could receive calls on the back deck. Despite this the owners share a strong wifi connection which remained strong and undisrupted throughout my stay Thank you Steve and Jude for such an amazing weekender, I hope to come back soon!

Paradise in a beautiful valley on the Mid North Coast.

The perfect destination with or without pets. 15 minutes to unspoilt beaches and coastal communities and then home again to the private mini house set on a vast natural bush property. The house is separated from the main residence. Tastefully designed with a generously sized open living area and seperate bedroom with ensuite. A neat veranda is situated out the back with lovely views of Misty Valley perfect for relaxing in the morning, watching and listening to the abundant bird life and in the evening enjoying a barbecue and a visit from the local wallabies. The Friendly Hosts!! Everything you could possibly need has been thoughtfully provided. A generous supply of NescafĂ© pods and teas and other beverage needs. Snacks and treats. A picnic bag for trips to a bench seat overlooking the lush pastures of Congarinni. The owners even pre-mowed the trails for us. Long leads for walking the dogs up to the ridge. Insect repellent and mosquito coils for the veranda. Fresh towels for the dogs and all shapes and sizes of clean bedding for them. The “human”Queen bed is comfortable and the pillows provided are clean and fresh and of premium quality. The air conditioning is efficient, making it comfortable on humid days. There is also a laundry off the veranda with a brand new washing machine and dryer. Misty Valley is a premium destination. The most beautiful valley setting we have ever visited. Amazingly the Kelpie and Doberman were both exhausted. We look forward to returning.

We are husband and wife team originally from the NSW Central Coast and made the "Tree Change" last year. We chose MistyValley as we love the beautiful bushland full of native trees , birds and wildlife. Which is why we want to share it with our guests.

We love that we are only 8 mins to all the conveniences of Macksville township and only 15mins to amazing beaches.
We also enjoy kayaking and the area has many awesome waterways for boating & fishing.
We have ample room to park your car & boat.

Misty Valley is a very special place of approximately 22 acres of native forest including creeks , a dam and bush walking paths.
Our forest is full of native birds including Whip birds , Bowerbirds , Wrens Honeyeaters along with Wallabies, Goannas etc
The property is totally private with no close or visible neighbours. Just the peaceful views of the dam and native forest.
