Texted the host a day prior, no response. Arrived on the day of, still no response and no instructions on checking in. Had to find another place and cancel this one without full refund. Do not recommend.

The room is absolutely empty of anything a person might need during their stay. The owner doesn’t respond well and the “instructions” are so unclear!! The room has no towels or even tissues!! I stayed there 2 nights so I needed to shower and I had to buy my own towels. There’s no hot water. The bathroom has a very weird smell. There’s NOTHING nearby, and the room doesn’t come with anything like no instant coffee/tea, no easy meals, no snacks, absolutely nothing. Also, the room is TINY!! There’s no room to sit other than the bed. The bedsheets had weird stains, and the owner didn’t give me the WiFi password until the next day!! They don’t respond to any calls or messages. It’s truly horrible. Just pay extra for an actual hotel.

Other than a minor issue with the breaker panel, it was a quaint, quiet basement apartment with all the necessities I required (bed, shower, fridge, microwave.). The location is within ten minutes of the downtown core and great shopping at Square One Shopping Centre. The other tenants were quiet and respectful.

The day of check-in, host was not available to give me the key and asked me to come back which was ridiculous as i came the day of check-in and the time he told me he will be present. Fridge was not working abd had melted ice cream in the freezer and fridge had a smell as it was not turned on and notifed the owner (host) and he did not fix or do anything to resolve the issue. I booked this place for 4 days and a working clean fridge is necessary. The bed had stain on the sheet which makes me wonder if the sheets were washed. Luckily, i brought my own sheets just in case and I'm glad I did bring my own sheets. No toilet paper provision. Room dark as there are burnt out light bulbs. Basement Room was cold even turning on 1 small heater available in the room. People living upstairs, you can hear foot stomps.

Owner didn’t allow me check in on arrival date because she said cleaner had an emergency so couldn’t come to clean the place,leaving me stranded for the first night.Promised to refund payment for the first night before I leave but didn’t stick to her words. My room lights went off for over 24hrs with no one coming to check it after I reported to the owner.

Didn’t Even Stay…

First let me state that I received a full refund from the property manager and did not end up staying at the property, I was satisfied with this resolution. However, I was deeply dissatisfied with everything leading up to that point and the inconvenience. Check-in was supposed to be at 4pm, but he didn’t send the check-in instructions until after 5pm because the cleaners needed to finish up. There was only 3/4 of a roll of toilet paper for a 3-night stay, which according to the host…I could have asked for more. There were no bathroom towels supplied, which the host told me was due to “hygiene reasons”. I paid extra for parking and wasn’t even reserved a spot in the driveway, but was instead told to park on the curb. This was a classic “you get what you pay for” situation. I wouldn’t recommend.

Recommend apartment in a great location

I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable accommodation in the city

Great stay!

Beautiful unit, completely independant and super clean too. Communication was great with the Host and the unit had everything we needed for our 5day stay! Would recommend.

Great place to stay in the GTA

I booked this place as I have just arrived in Toronto. It is well located, close to supermarkets as well as close to transit to Toronto. The host was very responsive and the place had nice amenities.
