We had a great stay. The property itself is (wonderfully) in the middle of nowhere for dark-sky photography, but Fredericksburg is a quick drive away, along with some other more populated areas further afield. The grounds were wonderful, and the room was very comfortable and well apportioned. Would stay again for sure.

Very clean place! Also very cute. The property is great and has some communal space. The only thing I didn't like was that some of the booking process took place off vrbo. It required a security check with my driver's license and a selfie, which felt invasive. However, the stay was beautiful, the host was communicative,and it's so close to Fredericksburg. Lots of towels.

Clairissa, "lots of towels" might be my favorite line in a review all year, and I'm glad the house felt clean and cute from the moment you walked in. You're right that the ID and selfie check landing outside the booking platform felt like a surprise, and surprises like that belong up front. We've rewritten the pre arrival message so the verification step, what it asks for, and why it exists are all spelled out before you ever click it. Come back when you've got time to work through more of the Fredericksburg wineries, and the communal space is a good spot to land afterward.
