Our family stayed here for a weekend visit to the area for a memorial service of a family member and all the family homes were full. It was a comfortable place for a reasonable price
Place as described & pictured. Very clean
Great communication re check in process.
We were just there as a base to go river rafting. Great location for that. Close by
Beautiful view. Great deck. Needed coffee mugs not crystal punch cups, but overall a nice place.

Hi Jeanette, thanks for sharing your feedback! We’re so glad to hear you loved the beautiful view and the deck. The owner wants to clarify that coffee mugs are available in the china cabinet for guest use, and they’re sorry if this wasn’t clear during your stay. They’ll be improving how this is communicated to future guests.
Rented this house because I had a wedding to go to in Foresthill. Wow - this is like a treehouse -your view is the forest. The wrap around porch is where you spend most of your time - very tranquil and relaxing. I would highly recommend staying at this house if you need a getaway to be able to relax. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

The home is perched on top of a hill with a wonderful view.Owner has and is putting nice work into it to make it clean and comfortable. 20 minutes from Auburn. We stayed in March and it was cold. We wish we could have spent more time on the deck.

Hi Stephen,Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the view and the peaceful atmosphere at the top of the hill. It means a lot to hear the effort we’ve put into making the home clean and comfortable is noticeable. March can definitely be chilly, we’d love to welcome you back when it’s warmer so you can enjoy even more time out on the deck with your coffee!Warmly,Lynnette – Host, Courageous Mountain Vibes

Isolated and Peaceful
Entire house, two bed “rooms” in the loft separated by a bathroom. Bottom floor has kitchen and living room with TV. There’s a private bedroom and a bathroom across the hall. Not too bad for the price. Just make sure you don’t drive a fancy car up though. It’s unpaved dirt road so it’ll make your car dirty. And don’t arrive at night, hard to see and GPS not effective in the area. Have fun!

Hi Anna,
Thank you so much for your kind words and 5-star review! 🌟 We’re so glad you enjoyed the peace and privacy that Courageous Mountain Vibes offers. Your detailed feedback about the loft setup, kitchen and living area, and overall value is wonderful for future guests to hear.
We also appreciate you sharing your tips about the road and GPS. You’re absolutely right, it’s best to arrive during daylight and expect a bit of mountain charm on the drive in. We’ll continue reminding guests about that so they can arrive prepared.
We’d love to host you again whenever you’re looking for another relaxing mountain escape!
Warmly,
Lynnette

Mountain top morning coffee.
Our trip was great. It was March so it was cold. Once the house warmed up, it was great. WHAT A VIEW! The owner has clearly been putting a lot of work into the home. House is very clean. Don't let the hard water stains in the shower freak you out. It's a product of well water. We would like to plan another trip in late spring or early fall. Although we were there primarily for a wedding, we definitely could see ourselves coming back.

Worst property I’ve stayed at
A list of things wrong during our stay:Dishwasher was full upon our arrivalFood was in the fridgeWashing machine was full of dirty towelsDryer was full of linensThere was no top sheet on any of the bedsThere was a live bat flying around inside the homeThere were no protective covers on the pillows and mattresses and they all had stainingThe most egregious was the showers/tubs were completely unusable and we were unable to bathe during our stay

Hi Brenna, we take guest feedback seriously and appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. The homeowner wanted to share the following:
- The fridge contained a few brand-new items left by the cleaning team in case they were useful to guests.
- The cleaning team confirmed the linens were changed, and the pillows had cases. We've since added new pillows with protective covers to prevent future issues. In regard to the dishwasher not being unloaded, we apologize for any oversight.
- While there was no confirmed evidence of a bat in the home, we still investigated and have since hosted additional guests without issue.
- We hope the measures taken by both Evolve and us made up for any inconvenience you experienced.
We understand how important a seamless stay is and appreciate your insight as we work to provide the best experience for future guests.
