Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hopefully the rental company has time to inspect the place a little better rather than just “cleaning it” before the next guests check in and get burned. The complex, beach, pool, parking, views, etc were absolutely amazing! However, the condo unit itself is decrepit, wore out, filthy, and in desperate need of repairs and upgrades. There is black mold in both of the bathrooms and ductwork due to no fans or ventilation. There is a 1/2” gap under the front door where the cockroaches come in. The stove worked two out of the six days we were there (we had to go buy a griddle to cook). The dryer doesn’t work (we had to take our laundry elsewhere). The door wall slider needs repair. The paint and patch work looks like a work in progress. The kids Bedroom door handle fell off, the closet door handle is missing. The weirdest part of it all was the “rv” style accordion door in the “master” bath...in all my years, I’ve never seen anything like that. We’ve stayed at tons of places in this area on the beach over the last decade and although this was a last minute find to get us out of a jam, it’s a 250 dollar a night kind of place (at best) not a $550 a night kind of place. As mentioned, everything around it was absolutely beautiful which helped us tolerate it and it has a lot of potential, but it desperately needs a lot of work and your company should be more transparent about that when renting it.

Unfortunately you did not report any of the issues above to us during your stay. We always encourage our guests to communicate with us as needed during your stay with any problems regarding the cleaning or property condition. Had any of the issues been reported we would have been eager to address them so that you all could have the best vacation possible. The property was recently sold to a new owner and is also new to The Seaside Property Shoppe. The new owner is aware of some condition issues and updates that we plan to take care of to bring the property up to date. We have been booked fully with satisfied guests, who are already re-booking for next year. Again, we sincerely apologize for your experience and we look forward to you staying with us again once the property has been freshened up!

The unit could use some refreshing which I understand will be happening with the new owner. The grounds are well kept, a beautiful pool and BBQ area. Only 20 units at this building.
