We loved the house but feel like we were ripped off a little. The whole idea of staying on the beach is to have direct access to the beach. But that wasn’t our case. 2 of the doors leading to the deck facing the beach had signs on them that said “please do not use this door” and a third deck door couldn’t be used because the door knob would fall off in your hand. So anytime we wanted to sit on the deck we had to exit through the front door, walk down multiple flights of stairs, walk the entire length of the house and then walk up multiple flights of stairs again. 3 of the 4 families had to do this constantly many, many times each day. I’m absolutely positive that it’s a fire hazard as well to not be able to use one of two exits in each apartment. Please get this hazard fixed immediately!The floors are also not being mopped between each tenant rental. Our crawling baby had black knees, hands and the tops of her feet every time we put her one the bare floors to crawl. It’s disgusting to think of us walking bare foot and our baby crawling on someone else’s dirty floors.It’s a beautiful rental and very tastefully decorated but the dirty floors and unusable deck doors just sort of left a bad taste in our mouths. Each family wholeheartedly agreed that we should have been told in advance about the doors and been given the option to legally break the contract and get our money back if that’s what we chose to do.
