Welcome to The Rustic Retreat! Your group will fall in love with this charming and airy two story cabin located in a highly desirable neighborhood in Big Bear Lake. Ordained in big open windows and an abundance of natural lighting this homey yet spacious chalet offers a serene retreat for families, friends and our 4 legged loved ones including a fully fenced private yard. Boasting all that you need to experience a relaxing vacation under the stars you will love your vacation here at The Rustic Retreat!
Enter the lower level where you will find two spacious sleeping quarters and the main guest bathroom. Head upstairs to the main level where you are greeted with vaulted wood beamed ceilings within a warm and cozy living space, perfect for relaxing after a fun day of adventures out on the mountain or lake. Snuggle up together and warm your toes in front of the toasty wood burning fireplace as you watch the snow falling outside. The open floorplan is perfect for entertaining groups as it flows seamlessly into the equipped kitchen and open dining area. Here you will find all that you need to whip up your home cooked meals and slope side snacks for the group plus a cute dining table offers a great space for you to enjoy your meals together and enjoy the forested views.
From here you will find the primary suite with its own private bath and a wonderful balcony where you will surely love sipping your first cup of coffee among the birds in the morning. For your added convenience enjoy access to a washer and dryer for those wet snow clothes or extended visits to the mountains. The beautiful grounds are fully fenced and sit in a quiet yet central Fox Farm neighborhood where you will love strolling the neighborhood or lounging at the property no matter the season you choose to visit. Hop in the car and you are under five minutes to the grocery stores, ski resorts, marina, and even the downtown Village shops. No Early Arrival/Late Departure During Peak Seasons or Holidays.
There is No Street Parking Allowed in Big Bear- Make Every Attempt to Get Cars Off the Street for Snowplows. November thru April the law requires snow chains in your cars.
Pet Policy-Pet Friendly Homes Only-$40/Pet/Night
Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.
All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.
No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.
No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.
This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.
We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
