The condo was great, for the most part. Good location by the ocean and bay, boardwalk, shops, food, and it was tidy, and cozy. I’m rating it only 3 stars because, on our 3rd day there, a 9-month construction project (Sept ‘25-May’26) started right in front of the condo building in the parking lot. Not only did the completely block off the parking lot, but there were loaders drilling and jack-hammering asphalt nearly all day for 3 of the days we stayed there. It was incredibly loud and disruptive and we were not able to relax in the room during construction hours (Approx 7:30a-3p). If we had been told about the construction we may not have booked, and if we had known how disruptive it would be, we wouldn’t have booked. Also, the parking spot was described as small—but it’s not just small, it’s nearly impossible to get in and out of it if there are cars on both sides of you because their spots are small too and the alley is small. We felt “stuck” multiple times. And since there was construction happening in the parking lot in the front of the building, it was not possible to park there. There is a public parking lot for the beach near the front of the building, but it’s not convenient to access with the construction going on and there are signs posted that it doesn’t allow overnight parking. In the end, our stay would have been better without the parking lot construction and issue with the parking spot.

We had the best time and loved the location. A short walk to mission beach and we were able to rent bikes just down the street. The rental provided an umbrella, beach chairs, spike ball, and lots of boogie boards which added to a great beach day! The bed was comfortable and we were able to watch football on the spacious couch as well. Very clean and the owner gave detailed access instructions!

Clean condo

The condo was clean and there were plenty of cookware. The walk to Mission Beach was about two minutes away from condo. Belmont Park was also really close to our location.Sea World, Balboa Park, and the zoo are under a 30 minute drive. However, there are some small negatives about this location. The parking space is real small and it's best if you have a compact car. The laundry room is located outside of the condo,how ever; there is a lock code to room door. The beds are not the most comfortable but not terrible. The outside of the condo could use some painting or power washing. We had an issue with the laundry door lock but the host responded promptly when we called and found a solution.

Loved our stay! It was exactly what we expected based on the pictures. Close to Belmont and all the dining options. Really enjoyed that it is on the bayside as it’s a little less busy and less noisy. Easy walk to bay or ocean. Very clean, well stocked and the beds were very comfy! I also like that you have a designated parking spot. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay again!

Perfect location

You’re close enough to enjoy the ocean and the bay. Family of 3 enjoyed our stay and thought it was a perfect place for our quick trip. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

Close to beach and bay

Cute updated condo near the beach and bay. It is stocked with all the things that we needed for cooking. We also had use of the beach chairs and umbrella with a few added bonuses like beach toys and a kite. Although this is very close to the beach and the bay, the building itself is very rundown with almost impossible parking. There is a designated parking space in the tiny alley behind the building, but get the smallest vehicle that you can. We had a hard time relaxing in the condo because there is not a lot of natural light (it looks much darker than in the photos). If you were to open the blinds, you would be looking directly into another building. If you don’t plan on spending much time in the condo, it shouldn’t be a problem. Overall, the place was clean, and tastefully decorated.

Nice place, good location

Nice furnishings and everything just worked. We didn't find the dedicated parking space the first night, didn't know it was around in back. It's a compact spot, pretty tight for our 4-door sedan so we always parked in front, although some nights there weren't many open spaces.Easy walk to the beach and nearby businesses, we rented bikes and rode around the bay. Quick access to freeways and other parts of SD for good dinners (check out Mabel's Gone Fishing). All in all, a nice stay.

Great stay!

Great access to beach and bay. Very roomy except for the bathroom. I suggest changing the door on the bathroom to a sliding barn door, then it would feel roomier. There was quite a bit of construction going on in the parking areas during our stay but having a designated spot in the alley was great. Lots of towels and beach gear, big comfy beds, bug comfy couch, large kitchen, overall an excellent place to stay!!!

First time in SD

Overall this condo was great, especially it's proximity to beautiful Mission Beach. Only complaint is that the bathroom is very small so it was hard to navigate in there, but the rest of the condo was very roomy. Kid friendly with lots of beach toys and inflatables in the closet. We had a great stay and the host was very communicative before we got there and after we left. I would recommend!

Beautifully decorated condo just minutes to the beach on the ocean and to the bay. You can find everything you might need for your stay in the unit. In the bathroom, there are bottles of shampoo and conditioner, a hair dryer, and plenty of toilet paper. In the kitchen a Keurig Coffee Maker with coffee pods. Salt and some spices. A bottle of olive oil (not sure if one is always available or just a leftover from the previous guests). Lots of dishes and kitchenware. In addition to this, we got clear detailed and timely directions how to get to the place, where to park, and how to unlock the door. Overall, a very good experience.

Comfortable Property in Beach Location!

This comfortable property is located in a lively and convenient area (with plenty of entertainment, dining, and small grocery/liquor stores nearby). The owner was very communicative, and even let us check in early last minute since we were waiting around anyways. They also thought of everything - from extra sun screen, to aloe in the fridge, beach gear, and the clothes steamer!

Perfect walkable location

Great location to walk anywhere Mission Beach related. Couple of coffee shops down the road, and easy access to beach. Host was easy to communicate with too!

Everything about the stay was great!! We were a short walk to the beach which made the stay perfect! We were fully equipped with everything we needed. The toaster did not work but we made do. Other then that everything was better then expected!
