FIRST FLOOR - KITCHEN/DINING & HALF BATHROOM
A spacious Living Room: An inviting space adorned with tasteful décor, providing comfort and relaxation for gatherings or leisure time. A cozy retreat for unwinding and bonding with loved ones and offering comfortable seating arrangements for the whole family.

KITCHEN
Cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the fully equipped culinary haven. It has all the gadgets, dishes, and utensils you expect to find in a family home. There is a full-size fridge/freezer, a freestanding gas cooktop, an oven, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, and a dishwasher to cover all the cleaning up. Cozy up in the eat-in kitchen area with a sofa, wall-mounted smart TV, and a table with chairs perfect for a quick snack before heading out to explore the city!

DINING ROOM

Three spacious bedrooms await you in this regal retreat. Each room boasts a king-size bed adorned with fresh, clean linens and soft bedding. The plush carpeting underfoot ensures a cozy ambiance while abundant natural light floods the rooms. Closet space abounds, providing ample room to store your belongings. The immense primary bedroom is a true sanctuary with an ensuite featuring a single vanity and a walk-in shower. A trundle bed awaits in the primary bedroom for larger families or guests, offering additional sleeping arrangements. A shared full-size bathroom with a single vanity and a tub/shower combo is in the hallway.

THIRD FLOOR - 2 BEDROOMS & 1 FULL BATH
The third floor of this beautiful retreat boasts two spacious bedrooms adorned with queen-size beds and two trundle beds, making it a true family retreat. Fresh, clean linens and soft bedding ensure a restful night's sleep. Each of these comfy bedrooms is bathed in abundant natural light and provides ample closet space for your belongings. For entertainment, each bedroom features a 40" TLC wall-mounted smart TV. A shared full-size bathroom awaits in the hallway, complete with a single vanity and a tub/shower combo. Whether unwinding after a day of adventure or preparing for a night out, this bathroom covers you.

LAUNDRY
And regarding practicalities, this lovely home offers two sets of laundry space. One set is conveniently located on the 2nd floor, tucked away in the hallway closet. The other set is in the home's basement. So, rest assured that laundry won't be an issue during your vacation getaway!

OUTDOOR AND PARKING
Step out the back door onto your private patio to soak in St. Louis's beautiful weather, or let the little ones run around the backyard. A carport private parking for two vehicles is ready for your use, and free street parking is available in front of the home.

The historic Central West End is a bright and vibrant neighborhood named one of the top neighborhoods in the U S and is known for its upscale shopping, dining, and cozy coffeehouses.

The Central West End is a highly walkable area with art galleries, antique shopping, great nightlife venues, and stunning turn-of-the-century homes, all located on the eastern edge of Forest Park, just a quick 5-minute drive from downtown St. Louis.

Whole Foods, Straub's, and Schnucks supermarkets are close by, as well as all the city's top attractions, making this beautiful home the perfect place to base your group or family while visiting St. Louis.

Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by car with most highways conveniently nearby. You can also use the Metro link light rail system to get to many major attractions.

St. Louis also has both UBER and Lyft available. You'll also see lots of Lime and Bird electric scooters throughout the city, so you can zoom wherever you'd like!

PRIVACY-SAFE NOISE MONITORING
This home is equipped with NoiseAware monitoring devices that alert us if noise levels increase over reasonable levels. This allows us to reach out and request that levels are reduced to reasonable levels. To protect your privacy, the monitors do not record audio.

GUEST VERIFICATION
SafelyStay, Inc., verifies the identity of guests and checks criminal databases in order to confirm reservations.

TRUST & SAFETY
The SafelyStay, Inc. Trust and Safety Fee includes up to $10,000 of accidental coverage for contents damage and up to $100,000 coverage for accidental property damage and bodily injury.

The Trust & Safety Fee allows the security deposit to be waived while protecting you, your group, and the property should an accident happen. The $88 fee is collected at the time of payment and may be labeled as “Trust & Safety Fee” or “Management Fee”.

EXTRA GUEST FEE

✔ This home has been carefully designed and outfitted for the comfort of vacationers and business travelers. Please do not inquire if the following items don't work with your plans.
✔ Primary renter must be 25+ years old
✔ Pets are not permitted on the property
✔ No smoking inside the home
✔ No additional guests - If more guests are expected, please add them to the reservation
✔ No Parties - If the guests exceed the number stated in your reservation, it will be considered a party
✔ Quiet time is 10pm - 9am (including weekends). The neighbors are proud of their quiet, peaceful neighborhood and we ask our guests to be respectful. Please keep voices and music down during quiet hours.
✔ Outdoor areas off-limits after 10pm
✔ Nothing can be taped, pinned, or attached to walls, ceilings, or hung from the lighting fixtures. Absolutely no glitter or confetti.

Good and kind of bad

The house itself was great. Clean, updated and plenty of bedrooms. The location of the house was the issue. There are some dilapidated building all around the house. The street itself is gated on one end, so it does cut down on traffic. We didn’t have any issues at the house, but the ride to and from the house was sketchy.

Enjoyed the home for the most part…had issues with the 3rd floor area being too warm w/ limited air flow of AC, and no ceiling fans; also neighborhood was run down and unkept yards, and unfortunately had a loud drive by shooting across the street at 2:30am last night w/ cops showing up to investigate …would pick a different location next time

Overall, our stay was just short of EXCELLENT. The house is simply beautiful and every one of us just loved it. The combination of Victorian and Neuvo-loft details is fantastic (exposed brick, wainscoting, and raised panel accents AMAZING). Property manager communication and responsiveness was stellar. Cleaning crew needs more oversight - the kitchen surfaces and appliances were not as clean as they could/should have been especially given COVID in the area. Towels in the master bedroom although clean had to be dried. Initial supplies: cookware, dishware, cutlery, pots and pans were more than sufficient for the potential max capacity. Over the last 3 days ants and centipedes were a minor problem in the living area off the kitchen. We have a few suggestions to improve this property and elevate its appeal/repeat business. Post/have on hand a list of local emergency contacts as well as for ABODEBUCKS. Improve/upgrade the basement space for an additional sleeper/sofa/sitting option and game room (pool/table tennis/air hockey/board games, etc.). Consider complete enclosure of the back yard and adding covered outdoor seating and/or picnic table. The ultimate evaluation is of course would we stay there again? That is a resounding YEBETCHA we would - hopefully next summer. 4.75 stars!!!!

No one held up their end of the bargain

Overview:- The heat was out in November, we had one day's heads up that part of the house would need space heaters, and they didn't offer a refund or to let us cancel. - Neither VRBO nor ABODEbucks took appropriate steps to resolve the situation, despite repeated attempts to get this issue addressed. - I reported the wiring issue to the city to trigger an inspection.More details:The owner isn't doing a great job maintaining an old house. The wiring is a fire hazard, and the heat was out. ABODEbucks let us know the day before that one floor wouldn't have heat, but that space heaters would take care of the issue and the rest of the house was "warm and cozy". Not the case.There were 11 of us hosting Thanksgiving for our elderly parents, so there weren't many options. They said the space heaters should help and that the issue was just the first floor. We didn't have any financial recourse offered, so we went ahead and stayed there.The house is beautiful, but the wiring is ancient and the power kept going out. We found a full diaper under one of the beds, and everything had dust on it.I spent the better part of our holiday trip going to basement to figure out which breaker popped, taping up signs that the heater and the TV couldn't be on at the same time, and trying without luck to get ABODEbucks to at least send over more blankets.We left a day early, and received a 25% refund.I guess we're going to stay at hotels from now on.
