Great dog friendly house

Well organized, it had everything we needed and more. Our dog loved the place. She found the dog bed very comfy.

Best vacation ever!

We had a wonderful stay. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the community ponds, where our kids spent hours swimming and playing. It’s also only about 8 minutes from Big Trees State Park, so getting out to explore the giant sequoias was super easy.The house itself was very clean and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable family getaway. One of our favorite touches was the record player, it made our family board game nights extra fun and nostalgic!There were plenty of enjoyable activities nearby for the kids, and we really appreciated how safe and family friendly everything felt, both in the home and in the surrounding area. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, adventure-filled escape!

Pleasant cottage

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The place was well equipped and had a casual atmosphere. Great proximity to all our favorite places. The effort the owners put in to think of everything was obvious and heartfelt. We didn't use the Smart TV and we are not very tech savvy and like the Roku style with Apps we use often. The wifi was great however, not always the case in Arnold.

Seriously the best stay

This cabin is so inviting! They thought of everything. My favorite part was the hot tub! I love the record player, it was such a nice touch. The swing hammock that can be moved inside and out was the best! I love the washer drying in one. It made it so easy to wash some clothes and leave. The fire pit was perfect. It was so clean and the host was very clear and easy to work with. This space is perfect for family’s because of the trampoline and obstacle course. There is a small lake to swim in just walking distance away. I went here with girlfriends and it was so perfect for us. The town is so sweet and there are cool towns to explore near by. We went paddle boarding and hiking.

Cozy Mountain Hone

Beautiful cozy home. We awoke to a blanket of snow....magical. Great location for a quick drive to skiing at Bear Valley. And an easy drive the other direction for a day in Murphys. I was concerned on arrival about the temperature in the home. But quickly warmed up with wall heaters and cozy wood-burning stove. Thank you, Marta!

Well stocked house

The house was nice - as described. Bonus points for having a well-stocked kitchen (condiments, coffee, etc).The only areas for improvement are lack of central heating (there are in-wall electric heaters in each room...they seemed to work but had to turn each on on individually) and the mattress in the primary bedroom was very soft (personal preference though).Overall I'd go back!

Functional but not comfortable

The house was clean and had enough space for our family to sleep comfortably. The location and surrounding area were also very nice. However, the house had a musty, old-fashioned smell that was noticeable when we arrived. The bed in the master bedroom wasn’t very comfortable due to the foam mattress topper, and we would have appreciated some extra pillows and towels.We tried using the washer/dryer combo for our daughter’s clothes, but they didn’t come out smelling fresh—possibly because the machine door is usually left closed. Additionally, there was no outdoor garbage can provided, and no instructions were given on where to take the trash.

Hi Kent, we’re glad you liked the cleanliness, the spacious layout for your family, and the great location. We’re sorry you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback and they wanted to share the following:- We’ve already addressed the musty smell by deep cleaning and refreshing soft surfaces throughout the home. We’re also adding natural deodorizers and improved ventilation to keep things fresh, and there are air purifiers available in the hallway closet.- We also removed the foam topper and placed it in the closet for guests, as we found the mattress more comfortable without it. There are now four spare pillows located in the closets.- Regarding the smart washer/dryer combo, we now leave the door open between uses to prevent odor buildup, have updated the detergent supply and settings, and have cleaned the unit to help clothes come out smelling fresh. We also added operational instructions.- We’re adding clear instructions for trash disposal, including the dump address and hours, and our cleaner takes it to the dump since there’s no outdoor garbage can on-site.Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

Peaceful Retreat

We decided on a whim to go and stay in Arnold for a few days. Usually we stay in a hotel but we decided to try evolve and find a home and we decided on this one.It is a lovely home nestled among tall trees. It's quiet. It's peaceful. The home has a large deck area. Perfect for pulling up a chair and just watching nature. The inside of the home is very comfortable. It offers three bedrooms. It was easy to set up the crates for our Boston terriers in one of the bedrooms. They really enjoyed having their own room! The kitchen is well equipped and made it easy to cook dinner. The family room has a large television and a comfy sofa.The home is blocks away from a gorgeous lake! So that was an added bonus. The homes location is perfect. Easy to get to shopping, the Rim trails and Big Trees State Park.Yes, we will be going back.
