Upon entering the house, the high ceilings, generously proportioned rooms and comfortable, stylish furnishings will make you feel instantly relaxed. The expansive windows, French doors and spacious verandahs will seamlessly connect you to the gorgeous Mudgee panorama.

Lazy Frog Lodge can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests. Four of the six bedrooms feature French doors opening onto the 30-metre-long front verandah, inviting you to unwind while resident kangaroos and wallabies graze. Or sit back on the comfortable lounge chairs and watch the sun set, while savouring local wines, olives and cheese, or fresh honeycomb from Mudgee Honey Haven, just down the road.

Cook up a feast in the spacious, fully equipped stone kitchen which boasts an island bench, induction stove, full-sized fridge, dishwasher and a Vertuo Nespresso machine in the walk-in pantry. Alternatively, barbecue your meal on the covered outdoor deck where you may spot an occasional deer wandering by. Enjoy your dinner together at one of two 12-seater dining tables, either inside or outdoors.

After dinner, gather around the beautiful fire pit nestled into the hill behind the house to toast marshmallows. Although we are only a seven minute drive from the centre of Mudgee we are located in a rural setting bordered by native bush, farms and rolling hills. It's a 25 acre property with two other houses on it, a good distance away. Within a few minutes drive you can be at wineries.
Mudgee has so much to offer visitors, with boutique wineries, character filled cafes, pubs, breweries and paddock to plate restaurants. There are fabulous bush walks or strolls by the river, and plenty of art and live music. Not to mention markets every weekend. You won't be short of things to do during your stay in Mudgee.
