Oceanview Retreat in James Bay – Steps from the Beach!
This is my home, and I’m happy to open it up at select times of the year as a rental. I appreciate guests who treat it with care and enjoy it as much as I do.
The space is bright, cozy, and thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay.
• Sunlight throughout the day — bright and welcoming
• Living room with large TV and Wi-Fi
• Older home, clean, cheerful, and well cared for
• 2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed, 1 Double bed)
• 1 full bathroom with tub and shower
• 1 half bathroom (toilet + sink) with washer and dryer
• Large office with morning sunlight and wall-mounted whiteboard
• Fully equipped kitchen: full-size fridge, stove/oven, toaster, Magic Bullet, small food processor
• DeLonghi espresso machine, coffee grinder, and tools for great coffee
Great front yard and quiet neighbourhood street.
Enjoy locally taken photographs framed throughout the home.

Due to bylaw changes, this home is available for 30-day maximum stays plus a cleaning fee.
Important information:
A separate studio at the rear of the property is reserved for owner use as a private office/workspace only and is not part of the guest accommodation.
The backyard is not included in guest access.
Guests have exclusive, private access to the entire main house at all times.

I love my house-- its bright, cheery, in a great location and fantastic neighbours. I rent to visitors when I am away exploring other parts of the world. I leave my home nice and comfy for you so you can enjoy a home away from home. I hope you enjoy it and love it like your own while you stay.
Why they chose this property
I have a beautiful little house in a great part of Victoria. The house is a post war home (1942) and I've landscaped the front to be a cottage garden. A few steps down the street takes you to the Breakwater, and Dallas Road. Most mornings I take my coffee to the beach to start the day and I pack up my dinner and eat at the beach too. Its a quick walk to the grocery store (Thrifty's), Pharmasave and other amenities in James Bay. A short walk to downtown Victoria as well.
Perfect getaway for the summer and you can work from my beautiful bright home office (there is an external monitor for you to use with your computer).
