Hidden Pond Large Two Bedroom, Pet Friendly Suite with hot tub in Metchosin

Located in Metchosin 30 minutes from Victoria and Sooke. The Hidden Pond spacious family suite is perfect for your family or group getaway or anyone looking for peace and tranquility. Two bedrooms include a large primary (King ) with futon coach and a bunkhouse room (two double and two single bunk beds) both with full ensuite bathrooms making this versatile space works for large families. Full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry, large living space with fireplace opens onto the large covered deck for all-season indoor and outdoor living and dining with spectacular pond and forest views. Hot tub, private beach, swimming pond, firepit, trails, and orchard on 10 private acres make this an oasis with so much to offer. This newly renovated suite can be booked to join with our Hidden Pond Gong Suite for a full property buy-out.

Please note this suite has stairs and it is a walk down to the pond , so this might not be a great option for anyone who has mobility issues.

Perfect getaway
We celebrated our daughter's 10th birthday there as we wanted to do something special. And special it was! What a lovely place, the place looks even better in reality than on the pictures.

Jo-Ann & Rob stayed focused on our needs and responded quickly throughout our time with them. We particularly enjoyed the walking trail on their property; the trail is well maintained and fun. Cozy place and comfortable. We will be back.

A little piece of paradise
We really enjoyed our stay in the family suite at the hidden pond. The accommodations were beautiful and we were taken back by how much room there was. The amenities were amazing, from the hot tub, to the garden, to the peaceful pond. The fresh baked goods were a lovely touch. Can’t wait to come back and stay at hidden pond again!

Wonderful secluded property and swimming pond
We had a great stay here, everything was exactly as we had hoped from the listing and photos. Swimming pond was a definite highlight! The hosts struck a perfect balance between being helpful and available when needed but also very relaxed and not in our way at all. We would definitely return and would recommend this stay to friends and family.

Hi, we are Rob and Jo-Ann Kevala. We are both semi-retired now and enjoy life on this amazing 10 acre property. Never a shortage of gardening! We love dogs and have three of our own on the property. We welcome visitors with their own pets. Our goal in opening Hidden Pond was to share this amazing property with other amazing people and provide a luxury option for people who want to travel with their own pets.

Hidden Pond became a reality in 2020. As we began to develop our property and build trails through the forest we found an amazing spring-fed pond hidden in the woods. Alot of landscaping and a year of work we spent reclaiming this pond from the wild. Today it is the home of a private beach, pergola and where we spend our summer and winter months

Hidden Pond is a unique retreat. Often people come planning to visit Victoria and Metchosin, then find the pond and don't leave the property for their stay. Whether you choose to relax in the hot tub, sit on the beach, wander the forest trails on the property, play with your pet in the orchard or warm your toes at the firepit in the evenings you won't find a more relaxing getaway.

We operate as both a Bed and Breakfast and vacation rental so lots of options for your stay. This suite can also be rented to join with the other Hidden Pond Gong Suite.
