Beautiful property close to lake and community pool

This property is perfect for families or large groups. We have wide range of kids 18-4 years old. This house was perfect and so nice to be walking distance from pool.

Excellent property capable of comfortably sleeping 12

We had a great stay in this property. The multiple decks and levels of this home allowed for easy "spacing" of kid groups that we had. All 12 of us had the space we needed and were very comfortable. The location is nestled away on the high hills/mountains of the area overlooking the lake and Hidden Harbor marina. Would definitely recommend the property as it is a great spot.

Family Vacation

There were nine of us and we fit comfortably. House is settled in trees, no lake view. Nice community pool within walking distance. Sits on a very nice lake. Beautiful master suite and two lower level bedrooms. Other room in basement is accessed through one of the bedrooms. Overall is clean and beautifully decorated.

Good deal

The house was nice. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. You need to bring additional dishwasher detergent. The loft was extremely hot and the ladder is straight up which was uncomfortable for the 12 year old. The parents weren’t feeling safe about him being there. The bunk bed area was nice but because it’s also the rec room, it wasn’t a good

Beautiful Home

"The Refuge" was beautiful and comfortable with plenty of open space for gathering. The deck areas were quite nice as well. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking implements as well as dishes, cups, glasses, and silverware. Plenty for larger groups. We thought the bedrooms were all comfortable and bathrooms were clean (except for cobwebs/spiderwebs -but that happens). Location-wise, the house does not have direct access to the lake (it is high above it) but you can drive to a couple options to launch a kayak. We used the community pool a lot and it was great. It's a hilly neighborhood - great if you love to walk/run and get your heartrate up! Overall, a very nice house and we enjoyed our stay.

Size indoors & outdoors was perfect for our group of 12. The house was clean & well supplied. It had a gas grill with a propane tank provided for our 4th of July cookout too! To nite the layout was a little odd as you had to walk through a king bedroom to get into bunk room. Although there was a door to the lower outdoor porch from the hallway and into the bunk room. So if you went outside you would not disturb those in the king room. One of the downstairs bathrooms was in the hallway for use of the king bedroom & the bedroom with two queens. It had a single sink. The other bathroom was in the bunk room and there was a double vanity in the entry floor master. The loft area had two single beds and was a very comfortable temperature even though TN was going through a heat wave. In order to cool the main lofted living/kitchen/dining areas to a comfortable level the air had to be turned down so the main floor master was pretty cool but we enjoy a cool bedroom at night so that was fine. The noise from walking and just talking at a normal level in the rooms carried throughout the home so with larger groups not the most ideal. However even with all of this we would still stay here again. The views were amazing, we were able to watch the fireworks from the back porches. The home had anything you needed and just a short walk down the road was a set of stairs (steep)to the lake where you could traverse the rocks to get into the lake.
