Property was nice, clean, etc. Only main issue was there were ZERO places to unload your clothes out of your suitcase. No closets or even dresser drawers available in any of the 4 bedrooms or living areas. And no place to even hang a towel in the bathrooms. We had to drive 33 miles to a Walmart and purchase a clothes rack to hang our clothes on. An iron and ironing board would have been helpful. But overall, clean, quiet and comfortable.

The house was absolutely stunning!Only thing that would be better is having Shampoo, body wash, maybe some additional kitchen items. We did utilize the laundry detergent and dryer sheets, which was a great bonus to go home with no dirty clothes. We would go back and recommend this property!

Perfect Getaway

Everything about this property is great. The only thing we didn't realize upon arrival is that it isn't right up against the river. However, it is literally less than 60ft to the water, with it's own access to the river. We will definitely stay at this property (or at least this neighborhood) again!

Property needs much larger grill more cooking tools inside and bowls etc..Other than the small things the property is beautiful and relaxing.

Family and Friends coming together

Plenty of space for everyone. We loved letting the kids play upstairs and outside, they had plenty of room to run around and explore. One thing I do wish they would have had, and may have I didn’t ask about was board/card games. We didn’t think to bring any but did run to the dollar store and get some so it was easily solved. Owners where able to let us check in almost 2 hours early which was nice to let the kids and grandparents out of the car and relax while we ran to the market. Place was super clean and had everything.

We really wanted to love this place because the area is beautiful, but unfortunately our stay was filled with disappointments.The first issue was simply getting in the front door. The door doesn’t appear to be installed properly, and the doorknob was so loose that my husband had to tighten it just so we could use it. Every time you enter or leave, you have to push and pull extremely hard.Another disappointment was that there wasn’t any bar soap or shampoo in any of the bathrooms. We’ve stayed in several cabins along this river over the years, and every one of them has at least provided soap. We actually ended up leaving a bar behind for the next guests.One thing that wasn’t clear from the listing is that this house is not actually on the river. Your view is of neighboring houses, and the river access is located between two riverfront homes. We had to message for directions to the access point but didn’t receive the information until several hours later. By the time we finally got a response, it was too late for us to enjoy the river that day, and we had to wait until the following morning.The biggest issue, however, was the river access itself. As I was told this is the access guests are supposed to use, but the stairs are incredibly steep—about 17 from vertical. My mother-in-law almost fell trying to use them. If you’re traveling with young children, elderly family members, or anyone with mobility issues, they will likely not be able to safely access the river. More!

Great family time at "Family Tradition"

The property is beautiful and clean. It is always a bonus when we rent a VRBO and every bedroom has a bathroom, so kudos for that! The upstairs bedroom/bunkroom and playroom are very spacious with a foosball table. The house is on the second row of houses, so it is not on the river; however, it is a short walk. I was just a little bummed about not having a view of it. We carried a gas grill because we were unsure what kind of grill was available and our family cooked BBQ ribs, burgers and brats. I am glad we did since the one on the property was a small charcoal grill like at a park. Overall, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the property.

This house was in a group of rental houses, all behind a code-operated gate. It felt very secure, as only guests could drive in and out. They were well marked, so I didn’t have trouble finding ours.The house was very well maintained and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, including some pantry items.We only experienced one issue while we were there. We did not receive the gate code prior to our stay, and we didn’t know to ask. Be sure to contact your host if it isn’t in your stay info email! It was pretty late at night when we got there, but when I called, Rachel answered right away and gave us the code. She was very polite and helpful.

Overall Good

Let me start by saying the property is gorgeous in a great little neighborhood near the river. However, the listing states river access with a picture that gives the illusion that it is directly on the river. This is not the case. The property is located across the street with an easement that allows you to go between two properties that lead to a deck down to the river. Also, We had multiple kids step on glass within the kitchen of the property. I relayed this to the owner and she stated she would speak with the cleaning crew. We ended up sweeping up the entire kitchen and living area and basically found many many shards of glass.

Clean cabin and good location

This is a nice cabin, clean, but not to the standards of some of the others cabins I have stayed at in this neighborhood. You can tell it was quickly built to begin renting out. The kitchen isn't completely stocked, no handrails to go upstairs (this was an issue for both kids and adults going upstairs), and a couple cosmetic issues in the bathroom. I think this cabin is great for a max of 8 adults, and it will be tight. If you have kids, maybe choose another cabin. The table only seats 6 and there is no room to sit at the bar if the table is full. If you sit outside at the table, no one can get past you to get to the other side of the deck. If you are outside downstairs, you can hear even a child walking upstairs. And if inside, you can hear the bags hitting if others are playing cornhole. Again, it is pretty and clean. I would expect a slightly cheaper price for this cabin.

We have had a lot of guests stay at this property and have never had any issues with the size of the porch or dining room table next to the bar. We tried to layout the house in a way that everyone could enjoy their space. We put a lot of thought in this 4 bedroom 4 bath house. The upstairs you have 2 queen beds and 2 X-Large twins with it’s own bathroom. Downstairs we have 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths. We have had 14 guests stay pretty regular. Thank you for noticing how clean everything stays. In the kitchen we have all the necessary cooking utensils but we will check into that and see if anything needs to be added. I have not noticed any cosmetic issues in any bathroom so I’m not sure what you referenced. The stairs have walls on both sides all the way up so they are safe. Again we appreciate the feedback and are glad that so many guests and yourself have given us a good rating.

Great location! Could use some a little TLC

The location is set back but a quick walk to the riverbanks & our family had a great time on the Caddo! Few things worth notating. While rooms were spacious there was no place to put belongings. No dressers and only one small stump table per room to use as a nightstand. They had luggage rack table that you could place a suitcase on but that was it. We just had to put everything on the floor. If you plan on cooking like we did I would suggest bringing your own baking pans & grill. The grill was very small for such a large home and we brought our own griddle and grill tools.

Pretty cabin but very basic in terms of furniture and kitchen supplies. Outside wasn’t very clean and most of the furniture outside was covered in spiders and bird poop. NOT a river view. You can’t see the water at all from this cabin. The walk to the water wasn’t too bad, but it is a walk. This area is a lot full of other cabins so there’s a lot of people, noise, music, and traffic. Great for a party spot but not for any relaxation or views. Cabin needs to add small touches like bedside tables, garbage bin outside, more kitchen items. Very basic.

Amazing Get-A-Way

Property was clean and perfect for our purposes. Area and walkability along the river very nice. Lock was on/off as to access -- sometimes would not unlock. Everything else in great working order -- no issues. Thank you!!

Hidden paradise!

We were blown away shortly after entering this little gated community. It's amazing! There are no pictures that can do it justice. We loved our house so much and it was perfect. Incredibly clean! My biggest worry with a rental is always the beds. Will they be comfortable, but we are so happy to say all beds & bedding are top notch. You will not be disappointed if you book this house!

Loved the Cabin

We enjoyed the cabin very much. The cabin is not directly on the river we had to walk which was not a big deal to get to the river but I would have like to sit on the porch to see the river. Also the grill is not very big for a big group of people to cook for. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and the river! I would stay again!!!!
