Immaculate 2 bedroom log cabin located directly on the Straits of Mackinac sleeps 5.

PLEASE NOTE PARKING IS LIMITED TO 1 CAR ONLY. NO TRAILERS.

The cabin is located in the quaint 5 cabin Birch Lodge Association located halfway between Cheboygan & Mackinaw City.

Great views of Mackinac Island, The Grand Hotel, Bois Blanc Island & the Mackinac Bridge.
A perfect place to create memories and plan day trips to Mackinaw Island, the Upper Peninsula or simply relax in the enclosed porch, or on one of the 2 decks & watch the freighters pass by.
The main level offers a cozy bedroom with a rustic hickory Amish made queen size bed. Adjacent is a bathroom with a full bath.
The upper loft offers another rustic Amish made queen bed with a private bathroom & shower. The upper loft also has a futon, great for a guest to sleep.
Complimentary wireless internet, & firewood so you can enjoy smores around the fire pit.

PLEASE NOTE PARKING IS LIMITED TO 1 CAR ONLY. NO TRAILERS.

MAXIMUM 5 GUESTS STRICTLY ENFORCED.

We also offer 2 kayaks on a first come basis.

We absolutely loved the cabin- it was very clean and comfortable. The outdoor space was incredibly clean and well maintained. Plenty of outdoor seating as well as seating in the all seasons room so you can enjoy the views of the lake and the Mighty Mac. Very relaxing! The owner was incredibly attentive and easy to communicate with- would definitely stay again!!

This is a lovely cabin and right on the water. We had great views of the bridge and Mackinac Island. It was fun to watch the big freighters coming through the straits. It was clean and very cozy with everything we needed. It is a perfect location to discover the surrounding areas. We stayed a week and would rent this property again. The owners are very nice and were right next door while we were there.

The cabin was exactly as pictured. Clean and comfortable! It was wonderful to fall asleep to the sound of the lake waves. Located just a few miles from Mackinaw City which is a fun place to explore. We would definitely return here if we are in the area again!

Beautiful cabin in a beautiful location on the Straits of Mackinac. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped. When we arrived in the dark, Steve gave us great directions by telephone to get us in the right driveway. Good access to Mackinac Island and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Exceptionally helpful host.

Sometimes you sign up to stay at a place and the pictures don't line up with the actual property, or you worry about the condition of the property, or the grounds. This is one of those rare occurrences where the property vastly exceeded our expectations, and we had a truly fantastic time staying here and exploring the local sights. Our stay at this cabin was amazing. Secluded and quiet. Steps away from Lake Huron. Kayaking and nighttime fire pits were some of the highlights. With a view of Mackinaw Bridge and island. The cabin was beautiful. Clean and inviting. The decor created a wonderful ambiance We also were fortunate enough to see the northern lights. Check in and out were so simple. You are missing out if you don't book this vrbo

We recently stayed at this charming cabin with an absolutely breathtaking view of Lake Michigan, Mackinac Island, and the bridge! The cabin itself was beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Steve, our host, truly went above and beyond! He provided fantastic suggestions for local activities and even came by to start our campfire, making our evenings extra special. This experience was unforgettable, and we made lasting memories there. Highly recommend!

What an amazing stay. The property is absolutely beautiful with all that you would need. The views are spectacular and we would enjoy just watching the waves, boats and birds. The property had lots of lovely little touches that you will absolutely appreciate. From s’mores sticks, binoculars, fire wood, extra blankets, a/c for the hot days. The best bit was Steve and Eva and their wonderful family. It was so lovely to get to know them and we would love to come again.

Amazing views and central location

We had an incredible time at the cabin. The pictures don’t do justice to the breathtaking views of Lake Huron. The deck is just steps away from a sandy and rocky beach where my family enjoyed collecting rocks and wading in the water. We also loved using the two provided kayaks. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything a family could need. One of the best aspects of this cabin is its peaceful location, while still being close to the bustling tourist hubs of Northern Michigan. This made it easy to take quick trips to explore and then return in the evenings to the tranquility of the cabin. We would absolutely stay at this location again in the future.

Steve was very helpful and kind. The house was great. It was right between Cheboygan and Mackinaw City. It was such a beautiful view. We loved being able to make a fire and sit by the lake. If we ever make it back to this area, we will definitely be staying here again!

Views are beautiful

This property is NICE!!! Super clean and comfortable. You will be close to Mackinaw city and the ferry to go over to the island (a must do) The outside decks are amazing and comfortable We didn’t use the outside fire pit due to so much wind while we were visiting Maybe next time!! We won’t hesitate to return next time we are in the area Thank you for sharing your amazing property !

Loved it!

Charming cabin right on Lake - sitting on the back deck listening to the waves lap up on the beach - priceless! Then at night seeing the lights on Mackinaw Bridge and the Mackinaw Island - awesome! We'll be back for sure. Steve was the best and easy to contact when needed.

Perfect!

This cottage was the perfect size and location for my family. The water is right off of the deck. Two towns, one with a Walmart for groceries, are about 10 minutes away. There is a trail right across the street! There are 2 bathrooms and they both have showers. The loft is open and there is a bed, bath, and sitting area with a sofa bed. Everyone we met there was delightful. We will be back!

Relaxing cabin close to Mackinac!

Had a fun and relaxing stay. We always love locations right on the water so that our children can be near a beach. Short drive to Mackinaw city for shopping, food, and of course, a trip to Mackinac Island. We enjoyed evenings by the campfire admiring sunset views of the Mackinac Bridge and Mackinac Island. Perfect place for star gazing too!
