About Guy and Claire Viccars

We are a couple that originated from Cornwall, where we both grew up in the holiday industry. After careers in the marine industry, super-yachts and economic regeneration we have found our little piece of paradise here in Lagrasse. After a 5 year and 600 ton renovation, the secrets of the property have been revealed, providing some of the most amazing architecture, sculptures and paintings from the Cathar period. Supplying plenty of things to see and talk about over a cold glass.

The house is nearly a 1000 years old. It has a unique past and ongoing story that seems to build with every room you walk into.

What makes this Apartment unique

To much to tell so we will wet your whistle. Sculptures of the chief knight for the abbey of Lagrasse ( the true location of the Cathar trial). Painting’s of the battles dating back to the 13th century. The first 26 paintings have been restored with some on display at the village 'Maison de Patrimone.' 15 arches with the last 13th century arch finally put in situ in the early part of 2014 completing a loving renovation of an immensely historic house.
