Beach Blanket Bingo is a charming and historic cottage located on a quiet street in South Nags Head, offering a unique blend of modern amenities and vintage charm. This retreat boasts a great ocean view and a nostalgic 60’s vibe, making it a perfect getaway for those looking to experience the Nags Head of the past with contemporary comforts.

Located in South Nags Head, four houses from the beach, providing a quiet and serene environment. The front porch offers a direct view of the ocean, ideal for enjoying your morning coffee or evening cocktails. The cottage dates back to the 1930s and is believed to have been part of the Civilian Conservation Corps camp during the New Deal era. It has been at its current location since 1960. It was extensively renovated in 2010, the bungalow retains its vintage charm while offering modern conveniences. The kitchen was completely renovated for a contemporary cooking experience. Beautifully updated bathroom to meet modern standards. All TVs in the cottage are smart allowing for streaming, catching up on weather, watching games, or playing video games. The Queen Bedroom features a tempur-pedic bed, ensuring maximum comfort during your stay. In addition to the front porch with ocean views, there is a large screened porch at the back featuring a high-top table with chairs and a sitting area for additional outdoor enjoyment. The cottage is fun, with a mid-century 60’s décor that provides a nostalgic feel.

The house was very nice clean well maintained except the windows needed cleaning outside. It was very close to beach just a short walk just 3 houses from the sand it’s a super quiet neighborhood everyone was very friendly, we thought the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The only downside was having to rent sheets and towels and having to put them on yourself also you get no paper products we got their late and their was no toilet tissue and no paper towels, luckily I always carry at least one roll in my car and I wasn’t told this, it would have been nice to know before hand to be prepared.

Great Place, Administration not so much

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was great and the location and beach were excellent. It's a quieter end of the OBX. The administration was insanely outdated, payment and contract were both done over the phone and using PDF documents through email. We were required to check in to Carolina rentals office before arrival even though there wasn;t anything to actually pick up (house was code locked). They also had the oncorrect insurance listed for me even though I had been back and forth over the phone with them at least 5 or 6 times.
