This cottage is so charming! We had four adults staying on the property and loved having coffee and breakfast on the beautiful deck each morning. We loved the owners, the neighbors and all the neighborhood dogs! There were plenty of kitchen supplies and lots of towels. We knew it was clean the minutes we walked into it. It was fun to watch the boats and families tubing and water skiing. We loved and appreciated the attention to detail and the peaceful experience it gave us for a long weekend.

This is the perfect place to stay. It's in a beautiful setting and the accommodation has everything you could need. The home is very charming and we would stay there again next time we visit Michigan. My daughter had an absolute blast fishing off the pier. It got her away from her devices for hours! She also enjoyed making s'mores in the fire pit. The community gathered on the lake over the weekend. There was great music and conversation. The residents were very welcoming. The owners, Lindsay and Jason, are top-notch. They go out of their way to ensure your experience is fantastic.

Beautiful Weekend Stay

This property was so cute! The decorating was adorable, and the lake view was so beautiful! It was my sister's bachelorette trip, and she wanted a short, cozy weekend getaway, so this was the perfect spot for it. There were 6 of us in total, and nobody had an issue with sleeping arrangements. The VRBO was super cozy and nice, and the lake view was exactly what we were looking for. When we went into town, everyone was so nice and there were lots of cute shops and small businesses! Also, the host responded promptly to all questions and was very kind and helpful!

Quaint Lake Cottage Escape

My husband and I spent 6 nights at this peaceful retreat. The one floor cottage was charmingly decorated, supplied well, and had beautiful scenic views. The water on the lake was still and glistened in the sunlight. Swans and ducks and other birds frequently made visits while we enjoyed the comfortable deck. Neighbors were friendly and inviting. The kitchen was convenient to both cook a sit down meal or grab a sandwich at the counter. The large refrigerator easily handled our groceries we purchased at the nearby Meijers. We also enjoyed supplied DVD movie choices. Great getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and get some rest and relax!

Perfection!

We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful, cozy place to stay for our trip up north for the Michigan game! We had everything we needed: coffee pot, super soft sheets, comfy beds, cozy living room, spa-like showers, every kitchen gadget, snuggly blankets, a deck that was AH-MAZING to sit on and watch the swans and ducks, loving and welcoming neighbors, and the view.....so peaceful. We will be back for a longer stay to get some fishing in. Easy check-in, hosts that gave great food recommendations, and were very accommodating. Book this place now, but not for when I want to come back! :)

Lakefront in Jackson

The property was lovely, with a beautiful view of a lake. It has comfortable beds and furniture, enough cookware and utensils, the appliances were all easy to work. Parking is across the street, which was a bit confusing initially, but the property manager was quick to confirm that this was the case. There were nice touches such as board games, cards in a drawer, and blankets/throws. And there are plenty of nearby major stores to get groceries and other things that you may need. My only complaint is that it wasn't prepped to welcome guests. There were some spiders/spider webs (nothing major, but definitely had to get rid of them for my family), no coffee or tea, no towels laid out (we had to search for them and figure out which were decorative), backporch was not swept of spiders/spiderwebs, bird droppings, and leaves. It was amazing on the backporch and we spent a lot of time out there, but we had to brush off debris before we could sit the first day, and purchase candles to keep away the bugs/mosquitos at night. There are logs for the firepit, but no kindling or matches. Nevertheless, I still recommend the property, it met our needs and I would stay again.
