Ferieboliger i Villers-sur-Mer Station

We spent a relaxing week in this little cozy cottage - the only sounds coming from the neighbors donkey, mule and rooster. Totally lovely countryside! The hosts/owners are incredible helpful and nice, providing extra food for us as we arrived on a holiday. We speak limited French and David helped us here - with reserving a table for us at a local restaurant. You feel far away from everything, yet you have two small towns/villages less than 3 kilometers away, including a super market and Busnel, a Calvados producer. We biked in the area but mostly drove around to various points of interest, e.g. Eretat and Omaha beach - both within easy reach. With eating out for lunch everyday, we didn’t bother cooking meals for ourself while at the cottage. It was very nice retreating to this quiet place every late afternoon after a day out. My guess is that you will have limited possibilities for doing extensive cooking, as the kitchen facilities are limited, but it will do for simple cooking. Not a problem for us at all!
