Just a wonderful, magical stay. We absolutely loved the treehouse. We arrived at night and walking the lighted path to find the treehouse was so much fun. The entire experience was such a treat. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic beautiful place. No real oven and very small fridge so prepare accordingly. Not a complaint though. Loved it. Loved exploring the property too.

A unique delight

Such a fun, one of a kind getaway! The tree house and Candlelight Farms made a wonderful memory for our family. I highly recommend!

Awesome Experience!

This was a fun, unique stay for our family! Everything was so clean, comfortable and beautiful! Our stay was like living in a storybook and the kids just loved it! It's definitely a trip we will always remember! We would love to come back. :)

Great place for a social distancing getaway

This property was a great place to stay. My kids enjoyed it. Only thing if your there for some quite time make sure there is no events going on while you there and make sure you take enough lighting if you do a camp fire at night there are no lights back there. But overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Nice, quiet sleepover

Nice getaway from Nashville! Loved the property and the La Petite Chateau was cute and clean. Best part was having a bathroom on each level. Would go again but make different food plans as it only had a mini/dorm room fridge no freezer and no oven/stove. Overall a great little experience!

Charming, one of a kind cabin

The cabin was clean, beautiful, and completely bug free. Very cozy and charming, with excellent use of space. It did not feel small or cramped at all, every inch of space is well-planned. Comfy bed. The owner is very responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Really good customer service.

We loved our stay at the treehouse! It's a beautiful spot with such fun places for the kids to explore and play. I wish I could give it 4.5. There is a bit of a hike to the treehouse which we were fine with but I think it should be stated in . It wasthbe

Adorable Treehouse

This place was quite magical. The kids loved it! I don’t recommend renting if you have more than two adults. And don’t bring a lot of stuff, because you need to hike through the woods to get to the house!

Fun

Fun property. Treehouse was great. Kids being born in Las Vegas have never seen lightning bugs (fireflies) tons of lightning bugs while we were there. Fun things to do on the property. Close to lookout mountain.

great stay

we enjoyed our stay in the treehouse. just a couple of hicups but would stay again. we did not get a lighter with our smores to light the fire with. But they came quickly to our need! the lights need replacing around the fire pit as they barely come on and are worthless. Also we was not aware of no TV in the treehouse, which it might have said and I missed it. but no biggie and will stay again!! thank you!!

My family and I had the best experience staying in this beautiful treehouse! I kept it a surprise from my kids, and they were beyond excited when we arrived. The treehouse itself was beautiful, cozy, and such a unique place to stay. Angie was wonderful with communication and made everything easy from start to finish. The only downside was wishing we had more time there! Thank you again for such a special experience — we would absolutely stay again.

Forest Wonderland

We stayed here as a stop over on our way to Florida and our kids begged to go back for a longer trip. The treehouse was lovely and so much fun for kids. The extra activities were great. We loved the treehouse playhouse and the “rope boat.” We cannot wait to come back for a longer stay!

Great Fun!

We loved our stay in the treehouse! My two elementary-aged kids and I stayed for a couple of days and had an absolute blast in the treehouse and playing all over the property, from fishing to paddle-boarding to canoeing. My littles loved petting the animals, and we rented a movie outdoors one night. Our cabin was stocked with everything we needed and was clean and cool. We also loved the proximity to Chattanooga for additional adventures on the way home. We definitely hope to be back!

A Magical Place!

The treehouse, property, and activities are amazing! The kids had such a great time hiking, fishing, playing in the creek, and making smores. There's a faucet near the parking area, so we could rinse off our gear, and we left our shoes on the little porch to avoid tracking anything into the house. The outdoor kitchen was a lot of fun for meals. We also realized that when you start walking up the trail to reach the treehouses, there's a steep little shortcut for the adventurous, but the actual trail meanders to the left and then circles back toward the right to reach the houses. We are already planning a trip to come back and stay at one of the larger houses on the property next time!

Simply Amazing

Everything about Candlelight Forest and the treehouse was perfect! Beautiful, comfortable accommodations and the kids age 5 and 4 were over the moon excited every minute! The property is amazing..and so much to do!! Look forward to going back!

End of Summer Getaway

This was a trip with our son before school starts back. He is 9 and all boy. Loves all the things outdoors! This was absolutely the perfect find and end of summer getaway for our family. We were able to watch him enjoy the weather and simply being a kid. The treehouse was adorable and had everything we needed. Loved the decor and the way it made us feel right at home. Candlelight Forest was picture perfect! We ventured out into Chattanooga and did some touristy things but were always glad to return to the treehouse. We hope to return!!

Unique experience

Tired of staying at cookie cutter hotels? We were! This cottage is the perfect remedy. We loved the charm & whimsical feeling of the cottage & the feeling of being in the woods made it an adventure in itself. The teens & youngest child loved the tree ladder to their upper room. The half bath was a plus. Everyone slept well. The living room was a little cramped, but not too big of a deal. Be aware the mini fridge is MINI. And definitely try to arrive before dark. We had a short stay and didn’t get to try out all of the amenities on the property. We were able to explore the treehouse playground, ferry, creek, & rope swing. All were excellent! In the words of my 7 year old, “Mom, can we live here?”

Treehouse Stay

This was our first time staying in a treehouse and I am so happy to say that our experience was fantastic! It had everything we needed. We were able to enjoy the quiet of the Candlelight Forest as well as the convenience of the proximity to Chattanooga for dining. The entire family agreed unanimously that we will be back!

Oasis in the woods.

We absolutely loved this place! The treehouse itself was adorable. I loved all the little touches: the decor, cleanliness, amenities. The bunk beds upstairs were so cute. I loved the children’s table, the little library - my kids thought the place was made just for them. And I loved that they had windows set lower so the kids could look outside without climbing on anything. The property was beautiful! We loved the treasure trail & wishing lanterns! What a magical experience!

Our family had a amazing time here! My kids love the treehouse. The space was good enough for our family of 6. Very clean and cute. The deck was perfect for BBQ. Kids catch lots of 🎣 on the lake!!

A Dream for Kids and Adults Alike

This property was fabulous for my six-year-old grandson. I think he enjoyed the rope swing over the creek and the mason jar scavenger hunt more than our trips in to Chattanooga to see Ruby Falls or ride the incline railway! There are so many opportunities for fun at this property. The treehouse was wonderful! He was so excited to climb the ladder and sleep upstairs. The adults loved it, too. I hope to return and enjoy the beautiful area again. It was better than I anticipated!
